Meadow Buttercup (Ranunculus acris)
Medium/tall, hairy, with 2-7-lobed leaves, rather rounded in outline but deeply cut, the end lobe unstalked. Flower-stalks unfurrowed, flowers glossy golden-yellow; April-Oct.

Common and familiar, abundant among long grass. Make sure you know the differences between this and Creeping Buttercup!
