Nettle (Urtica dioica)
Medium/tall, armed with stinging hairs. Leaves heart-shaped, toothed, in opposite pairs, longer than their stalks. Flowers green, in hanging flowerheads (with male and female flowers on separate plants); June-September.

Very familiar stinging plant, to be found in a patch beyond playground railings and elsewhere.
