| Short/medium. Leaves long, pointed, broadly 'hooded' at tip, sometimes dark-blotched. Flowers wine-purple with lower lip either untoothed or shallowly 3-lobed, tapering spur on back; June-July. We only have one or two of these, so be careful ! Spotters' score: 9 ref: p.290/3a
