Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris)
Tall tree up to 40m tall, with reddish flaking bark. Leaves (needles) in pairs, greyish and twisted. Buds very sticky with resin, flowers orange-yellow (male) and pinkish-green (female); May-June. Cones are conical, hanging down.

Common tree, but only one found here - in wood beyond car-park wall.
