Prickly Sow-Thistle (Sonchus asper)
Short/tall, spiny. Leaves wavy in outline, the end lobe the largest, thick and glossy, with lots of sharp spines, clasping the stem with rounded lobes. Flowerheads pale yellow, 20-25mm, in a loose cluster; May-November. Fruit a white 'clock' - like Dandelion.

Not many to be found: look on road edges beyond car park.
