Red Clover (Trifolium pratense)
Variable low/tall, standing up. Leaflets in threes, often with a whitish crescent. Flowerheads round or egg-shaped, sometimes paired, usually unstalked, with two leaves closely beneath, 20-40mm; flowers of varying shades of pink-purple, rarely creamy or white; May-October.

Very familiar flower with distinctive leaves. Common among meadow grass.
