Oval Sedge (Carex ovalis)
Pale green, forming a dense clump, often lying flat on the ground. Stems up to 60cm, rough at the top, curved. Leaves 1-3mm wide, rough-edged, remaining green through the winter. Flowerhead compact, with 2-9 similar, noticeably oval-shaped spikes; June.

One clump found so far at far end of meadow.
