The front of the school is a hard area, with paving, roadway and lawns which are kept very short.

The flowers that tend to grow here are tough weeds like Shepherd's Purse, Cleavers, Broad-Leaved Willowherb and Thistles, as well as low-lying lawn weeds like Daisy, Self-Heal, Lesser Trefoil, Chickweed and Plantains.

Bush Vetch hides beneath an overhanging shrub.

Cracks between paving stones are ideal for Procumbent Pearlwort.
