yeah for me! i just had lunch (no, i'm not cheering that), but i have no craving for a cigarette!

today did not start out well. i went to the grocery store like i do every morning to buy a quart of Hi-Land chocolate skim milk. there was none on the shelf. i knew there was some in the cooler. i could see it. but there was noone around to go get it for me. so, my entire day has been off. when you have a routine, people shouldn't fuck with it like that. i'm there every morning at 7:30 for that one item. and they know that i'll complain to a manager if the shelf is empty like that. i do every time. why wouldn't they make sure to have it there? because they're just fucking with me. they want to irritate me. they think it's funny.
people, i'm in there at least twice a day. i know most of you by name, and i know what you drive (unless you don't drive, but then, i know which path you take to walk home). think on that for a moment.
i want my milk to be there every day.

my little sister, who lives only minutes away from the Epcot Center, called to tell me that she's sending a gift to me for my birthday. she got me a CD burner. isn't that cool? she and i had talked a few months ago about how frustrated i was trying to find the right burner to work with my computer, and she apparently took notes about it.
i'll finally be able to get all that porn of my harddrive.

i didn't write much yesterday, did i?
had dinner with my mom and her man, and with mikey. it was fun. my mom cracks me up. she also gave me the sweetest card.
after dinner, mikey and i went back to my place where we promptly fell asleep in front of the television.
eating and sleeping. a good way to spend a birthday.

judging by the number of people at the office in their pajamas, i'm fairly certain that today is Hallowe'en. i feel kinda left out that i didn't wear my pajamas to work, but i decided it would be a little too cold for that since i sleep in my boxers.
i got out to my car this morning and discovered that i'd locked myself out of it. brilliant of me, eh? but here's what's even smarter: my spare key for the car is in one of those little magnetic boxes inside the car, on the console. lot of good that does me.
but nothing will bother me today. it's Hallowe'en. evil is in the air, and people are handing out the candy.

there's a town in central Missouri, right on I-44, called Lebanon. as you enter town, there's a sign that says "Experience Lebanon". i can't decide if this is an invitation to visit a quaint Missouri small town, or an invitation to take a Middle East journey and fuck off. the residents there didn't seem overly friendly.

i think i may be relapsing. i'm having alternating hot and cold flashes, and every once in a while, i get really dizzy. if i end up passing out, i'll let you know. i can still reach the keyboard from the floor.

ah.. monday morning. my favorite time of the week.
i'm feeling a bit better than i was friday. i'm still coughing up some really nasty stuff, but it's more infrequent now.
i drove to St Louis friday to help brian and tim move. it's a long drive used primarily by morons and idiots. i caused myself to go hoarse yelling at all the stupid people who don't know that the left lane is for fast drivers.
overall, i had a good, relaxing weekend though. i'll have to do it again soon. by december at the latest. that's when both Rent and Phantom will be there.
