Race #1

#3 EMPRESS OSBORNE I'm going to stick with her one more week. Last week she left for position and got an easy 3 hole tuck. She came out 1st over just before the 1/2 and battled the rest of the way on the outside. She could have tucked in the 2 hole at the top of the final turn and finished 2nd, but B. Miller elected to keep her out and take 3rd. She draws inside last week's winner and may use her good early speed to control things. Though she hasn't looked her best in recent efforts, she should have a better trip and rates the one to beat.
#2 OUR SLEEP N BEAUTY Has really come on in recent weeks. Last week she was behind a gapper at the 1/2 and had to work a bit to catch up with the top pick's cover. Then on the last turn when the above didn't take the 2 hole, this one slid inside and finished a nice even 2nd. She's on top of her game right now and I know Case will have her in position. A gimmick must.
#5 JENDEH Has beaten the top level 2 weeks in a row and now is assigned the outside. She may not be able to make the top as easily, but based on her current form she still must be considered.

Race #2

#4 HELLA Gets the nod in a very tough race. Her recent form is even at best, however, she has not had Sir Walter in the bike. He knows how to communicate "go" much better than this one's regular driver and certainly can get position in much better shape. She doesn't have much early speed but can close well at times. Based on this field's lack of depth, she has a slight edge.
#5 SWEET SUGAR BABY Was completely shuffled out of position last week and had no shot at all in that race. The week before that she went her biggest mile in a long time, cutting the mile and almost lasting against a decent field. There really isn't much early speed in this race and this one could be pointed for the front. She should be good value and as such is a decent play.
#3 AUBRA'S MAGIC CHIP Left last week and was out of pace at 3/4's. That was against much better than these. The week before she made a very nice 3 wide move at 3/4's only to hang againts a fast pace. She's the only one that has been facing this level consistently in recent weeks and as such gets the best of the weak rest.

Race #3

#5 IDYLWOOD CONCORDE Has done little wrong in recent weeks. Last week she was behind dead cover and tipped around that going toward 3/4s and closed willingly with only minimal urging for another strong win. There are several horses that may want the top and that may keep the early pace honest. The size of the field only helps this one as she will never be too far back. The win streak should continue.
#6 BIT O RIBS Is a speedball that seems to be rounding into form. Ward looks to handle this one's style the best and will undoubtedly be headed for the front. If he can get her there in good shape she may last a long time and could be runner-up again.
#2 SAND MY STRIKE Has 2 straight 3rd place finishes in this series by just saving ground. She seems to be getting better in this barn (claimed 5 back) and may be in position to follow the hot pace and out pace the tired ones late.

Race #4

#4 KOCKTAIL KITTY Won here on Tuesday night with a big 1st over trip the final 1/2 mile. She was driven but drew clear in fine shape. This field is probably softer than the one she beat Tuesday night and with clear sailing she will be tough to beat.
#5 TOWNER'S LADYWINDY Has very good early foot and should be able to make the top in easy shape. She has a string of nice efforts, but is 0 for 27 in the win column the last 2 years. Little chance to beat the top pick, but gets runner-up honors.
#8 KISSIMMEES ANGEL Has only 8 lifetime starts and already has 2 wins. That alone is better than most of these in here. She has good early speed to get position and takes a bit of a class drop. As with any 8 hole horse, she will need some racing luck, but may be good enough to over come the outside post.
#6 GHOST ANGEL Was in no position to challenge last week and that came off a sick scratch to boot. She never seems to draw well, but on 2-16 she flashed early speed against a good field of mares. If Randy decides to leave with her tonight that move alone will get her ahead of some slow horses and makes her a superfecta consideration.

Race #5

#1 AIR TAYLOR Looks to be a VERY good play tonight. She has a ton of early speed and draws the rail; Randy should have this one on top by the 1/4. Last week she was shuffled back and never found room, closing up any hole in the lane, seeming to have a lot of pace. This is a very weak field for this level and her class will make her tough to catch.
#2 PARK LANE CHEER Is the classiest one of the bunch. Last week she went to the top and then let the favorite go. She followed in the pocket until the lane when she hit the passing lane under urging with no response. The top pick came out of the same race and with no room and no urging was going to run this one over. This will be the favorite tonight, but in my opinion is no match for the top pick, but should complete the exacta.
#5 BLACKWELL Has really turned it around on Lasix, winning the last 2 easily. She steps up to face much better mares tonight and looks to be over matched, however, she still may be the best of the rest based on her recent form.

Race #6

#3 THE FRESHMAN Has missed a month and that is a HUGE concern, especially off the break in his last mile. However, this is a super soft field of trotters and this one has enough ability to beat these by 10. There is a lot of speed in here with drivers that aren't the most savy, and as such the pace of the race could be way out of line for this level. This one has a big 3rd quarter move and if he isn't off form he will circle this field in a matter of seconds.
#2 SOLOR DUTY Is a nice horse that draws well. He should be able to stay close to the above referenced pace and his late kick makes him a danger as well.
#6 SPLASHMANIA Was bet down to less than even money last week and made a break behind the gate. He gets B. Miller in the bike tonight and that will probably help. The week before last he had no room and good trot left. Probably a big overlay tonight and merits consideration.

Race #7

#7 TUCSON SUSIE Has been unstopable in these cheap series so far this year. She has done it on the front and she has done it off pace. She rarely takes any urging and B. Miller is driving very well in recent weeks. The price will once again be short, but until they beat her, she remains the top selection.
#5 KELLY ANN CROMBIE Left under a lot of urging last week and was wrestled into a 2 hole behind a "hot" horse. Going down to 3/4's she was pushed back and out of contention when the "hot" one retreated. 3 weeks back she left and chased the top pick, making the top pick work harder than she's had to in a long time. Early position is the key, but Hawk knows her best and can get her there.
#4 SHARON'S THRILL Was runner-up to the top pick last week and was able to do so even with a long journey. Case is getting a lot out of her and he returns tonight. She may be the best of the rest.

Race #8

#6 BAREFOOT OSBORNE Is another GOOD play tonight. She gets quite a bit of class relief, after chasing the 3rd best group on the grounds. Last week she stayed inside with a much lesser driver and had no room until the final 16th. Then she hit the passing lane and with NO urging at all she paced right by 2 horses and was gaining on others. Pantaleano knows her best and will have her pointed to the front. 2-1 would be a gift on this one in here and looks to be the best of the night.
#4 GLENCOVE HONEY Did not try last week from the extreme outside against better. 2 weeks ago she faced similar with Case (who returns) and wired them from this same post in a fast mile. She will be the likely favorite and does merit consideration, but Case tends to get over bet and may just be good enough for 2nd in here.
#1 BROADWAY TRICKS Went a long mile last week, tipping 3 wide off cover at 3/4s and going no where. She was able to gut it out for 3rd in a decent effort. From the rail she should be able to stay close to the pace and with a shorter trip looks to finish the trifecta.

Race #9

#2 T CODY Changed barns last week and responded with a parked out win. He was used long and hard and was dead game to the wire.He has a TON of back class and will make the lead easily in here. The price won't be as good tonight, but if this one is anywhere close to 7/5 he is great value.
#3 RING S'MORE Followed the top pick last week and was able to get runner-up honors after a placing. Schillaci gets along well with this one and may be able to complete the exacta again this week.
#5 DR BERNIE Was competitive at the top level earlier this year and then took a month off. He has 2 races under his belt since coming back and looks to be getting closer to the form that made him one of the best on the grounds.

Race #10

#3 I'MYOURHUCKLE
BERRY
Drops to face the bottom level and that is 1 plus. Last week she was locked in out of position with pace, and that is plus #2. Now after a drum roll....she gets Case tonight and that is plus #3,4 and 5! Case has done very well with Mr. Hall's horses and this one should be no exception. She has good gate speed and can close too. Either way Case will get a lot more out of her and though the price will be short, she is by far the best in her and looks hard to stop.
#4 PRECOCIOUS SOCIETY Is getting better the more she races. She started her career not hitting the board in 10 starts, but has since turned into a decent race horse. Last week she was 3 wide from the back and hung against a better group. The week before she flashed speed and held on fairly gamely. She gets a new driver tonight and will likely be headed near the front and may be decent value in the gimmicks.
#1 HAWAIIAN KULA Left and was well wide and under a drive for the entire 1st quarter last week. She had the 2 hole and was full of pace in the lane, though it was a slow last quarter. She gets a new driver tonight and that will probably help. When this barn's horses are ready they usually have some money on them early, so tab the tote.

Race #11

#2 IZZY INC Is another John Lee trainee that has just been on a form spree. Last week she came 1st over to a tough leader and wore her down and drew clear under the familiar urging of B. Miller. She should stay close to the pace and even though she'll be the favorite, is the one to beat.
#1 I NEED NEW NYKES Brushed the lead by the 1/4 last week and went on to an urged but handy win against a step below. She'll be pointed for the front again in here and if she can make the top and not get hounded she should last a long time.
#3 TRICKY TRIPPY Moved 3 wide down the backside and closed willingly in the stretch. She does not like the turns very much, but if this one can be close turning for home she will pass a bunch of them quickly.

Race #12

#3 CG FIRE Has a lot of back class and with 2 starts under her belt off a 3 month layoff may be set for a big effort. Speed is her game and she'll be pointed to the front. She'll have to get by the #1, but I'm guessing she'll make it. The price should be right and this one looks to be good value this evening.
#1 MS RAQUE TOP Is going very good right now and will use her speed to secure a two hole at worse. Last week she chased a horse that is in the Open I's now. She doesn't win a lot of races but loves to get checks. A must in any gimmick combination.
#2 DAYLON CAMEO Is another with ample back class. She only has one start under her belt, but that was a good one. She does her best racing from behind and has to avoid a first over trip in here. Dangerous with some racing luck.

Race #13

#6 DECORUM SOCIETY Cruised to an easy victory this past Tuesday off the rail. Tonight she steps up to face a better group and draws an outside post. However, Sir Walter is up and this one will enjoy the change. She has a lot of back class and when she is good she can go VERY fast. It looks like she is rounding into form and should have little problem beating these.
#2 SAND SAMMIE Drops tonight after 2 races off a layoff and should be better. She is loaded with speed and Pantaleano should have her out and going early. She just needs one easy quarter and she should last a long time.
#7 ROMANTIC MELODY Did not fire over the off going in her first Northfield start. She was facing MUCH MUCH better than these at the Big M and needs to be only at 50% to have a chance in here. I expect a better effort tonight and if J. Lee has this one ready she could challenge the top pick.

Race #14

#5 HOT COUNTRY LADY Looks to be some of the only speed in here. Last week Case got aboard and she responded by leaving and taking the pocket trip for an easy win in the lane. She won 9 races last year and looks to be finding her best stride. Because of the lack of inside speed Case can get the trip he wants and looks like the one to beat.
#7 JV'S PAZZO Tried the front end last week and just got nipped by the above. The week before Fisher could not get her to relax. Before that she won 2 in a row easily with BIG moves. She may need to leave for position or else be too far back, but she looks good enough to share.
#9 SUGAR VALLEY ANGEL Starts from the 2nd tier and should be able to stay with the top group. She raced very well for Case last time out despite being parked the mile. The time before she was 3 wide and couldn't go much over the off track. If the track is fast she should be able to use her last quarter to get minor spoils.
#2 MISS JORDAN Drops in class after being locked in with good pace. The driver is the only problem, but the horse is good enough to finish out the superfecta.
