Race #1

#1 IDYLWOOD CONCORDE Won all 3 legs of this series and has done so handily. Last week she was used twice in the first 1/4 and still drew clear with little effort. She draws the rail for tonight's final and looks much the best. No price, but solid.
#5 BIT O RIBS Has a lot of early speed and I'm hoping that Ward guns this one to the front. If he does he will probably be able to make the lead and then let the #1 brush him and from there he will get the perfect 2 hole trip. Last week that is what happened and it may happen again this week. Oliverio's horses are sharp and this one could complete the chalky exacta.
#4 SAND MY STRIKE Had to battle the top pick 1st over last week and still was able to hold on to 3rd. She has done very well in this series, with 3 third place finishes. She may have to come from last and that is a concern, but I'll stick with her for the best of the rest honors in here.

Race #2

#1 TWO DAYS ODYSSEY Won here Tuesday night at the same level and did so despite being headed going to 3/4's. That was a very nice effort and tonight he gets B. Miller. He has good gate speed and should be up close throughout and give B. Miller the early Daily Double.
#7 ARNIE'S KING Drops back to the level he last won at. He has some early speed to get position and he'll need a bit of luck from out here. Ward has been doing very well with this one and he looks to be good value in here.
#2 SOLOR DUTY Gets the slight nod for best of the rest from the inside. Last week he chased some very fast early fractions and was empty in the final 1/4. He has a bit of back class to him and if he can stay close and the pace isn't too much he should be able to share.

Race #3

#1 ARMBRO TICKET Has had 2 rough trips since comint to Northfield, having to battle first over to tough leaders. She has given it her all and has been game in that final 1/4 both times. From the rail Case should be able to work out the 2 hole or possibly even want to cut the mile. She should be tighter tonight and is the one to beat.
#2 M'S BRASS RING Needed her last start after missing 3 weeks and finished with very good pace late in that mile. She has been very competitve at this level and from the inside figures to be close to the pace. All she needs is a bit of racing luck and she shares in here. Great value.
#6 CG FIRE Was used very hard last week to make the top and was 3 wide the entire first turn. She took a lot of pressure from the #1 and just gave it up near the wire. She has the 2 starts since the layoff and is set for a big effort. She is loaded with early speed and will be pointed for the front tonight. If she makes the top or gets a hole in good shape she has a chance to share.

Race #4

#1 GLENCOVE HONEY Has won 2 of her last 3. Speed is her game and from the rail she should be able to make the lead. Last time out she went a career best 1.57 and now steps up a notch. Case opts off to drive Virgil's horse, however, B. Miller knows his way to the winner's circle and this one may make it 2 in a row.
#6 AIR TAYLOR Cut the mile last week and was headed just past the 3/4s by a quick move, but at the wire was coming back on that one. She has been in very good form and always seems to pick up a check. He best racing is done up close so a good early spot is the key.
#5 PARK LANE CHEER Won last week with a lightning quick brush past 3/4s but was getting tired by the 3/4's. The week before she was a bit empty in the 2 hole. She is the class of the race and Case will give her a shot. A gimmick must.
#9 ITALIAN ICE HR Debuts for the Schillaci stable and they have had a GREAT deal of success with recent Dover shippers. This one was facing similar at Dover with a good driver and wasn't doing much. She may need a start over the track but is still a superfecta consideration.

Race #5

#8 TREY OF HEARTS Has 2 starts in this stable since arriving from Chicago and could be set for a big effort. Last week she was WAY out of position to a VERY fast and runaway winner. She tightened up at the top of the stretch with no urging and was running the rest of the field over between horses with no room. The week before she was caught behind a tiring leader. The post will make the value and this one could surprise at a nice price.
#1 HIGH HOPES MISS Was in the cover flow last time and had no response. The mile was a fast one and that may have sucked it out of her. She draws the rail tonight and meets a much softer group. She'll need to leave all she can to ensure a good trip and with one she can share.
#2 PRECIOUS TRADTION Normally would not be considered at all. She has had nothing but an awful racing career. She picked up a few checks against week maidens and since then has only hit the board once. However, tonight she gets Sir Walter and that is like switching from a Yugo to a Mercedes (no offense Mr. Hopper). The horse will mostly likely show her best ever and though she won't be worth the win value (I'm sure they will overbet her) from inside she could be a play in the gimmicks.

Race #6

#2 SEASIN Drops back to the level she last won at after facing much better. She has good early speed and should be on the lead or in the 2-hole. She is in super form and only needs a trip to be right there. Slight edge.
#1 IZZY INC Has been simply awesome in recent weeks. She's won 3 out of 5 and just missed last week despite battling a Open I mare first over. B. Miller will have this one in position at 3/4's and is a gimmick must.
#3 IMAGINE ANYWHERE Was claimed by Virgil and as I've mentioned before he has had a bit of trouble with horses taken from Schillaci. However, this is a solid race mare. She is sound and always gives a good effort. Speed is her game and she can go huge miles at times. She moves up a bit in class and isn't good win value, but still is a gimmick consideration.

Race #7

#3 LIVE WIRE HANOVER Is about as good as they come tonight. Last week she did not try at all. She stayed inside and never sought room, just taken the short journey. In the lane she finished with pace between horses. She has a big move and can sweep them in a hurry. Tonight Case gets the call and that makes this one an easy winner in here. Even money would be a gift.
#5 SWEET SUGAR BABY Drops down a notch and that will certainly help this one. She battled first over last week and was some what galant in defeat. 3 races back she went to the front off the rail and paced her fastest mile in a long time, 1.59.2. J. Smith gets the call tonight and he is a decent driver and often over looked at the windows. Good value in the gimmicks.
#2 PRECOCIOUS SOCIETY Chased a run-away winner last time out and was no match. This mare is getting better each time out and from the inside should use her speed to stay close. Easily best of the rest in here.

Race #8

#3 CAR LYN JO Chased a very fast mile last time and did so on the outside. She paced a very respectable mile herself. She does her best racing up close and inside and will need early position, however, with a little luck she can be right there. Edge in a toughie.
#7 TUCSON BRIDGET Has 2 starts under her belt after a 3 month layoff. She won her first back easily and then was too far back to a tough wire to wire winner. She has a big move and can pass them all in the 3rd quarter with a hot pace. Good value in the gimmicks.
#2 MEGA LAUGH Case is up tonight and from the 2-hole that gives this one a chance. She has 2 starts over the track and could be set for a "wake-up" mile. Consider.

Race #9

#5 JENDEH Is going better than any mare on the grounds right now. Last week she was brutally parked the mile to killer fractions and still wore down the leader and was only beaten by the one that got the trip. I don't think she will have to be used as hard to get the front and once there she is very stubborn. The trip is the key and with one easy quarter they won't catch her.
#4 EMPRESS OSBORNE Has been the victim of brutal trips in recent weeks and has been a tired horse in the lane. Her current form is suspect, but she has heart and a lot of back class. If B. Miller can get her in position without using her quite so much early she has a shot in here.
#6 BEACH BINGE Stalked killer fractions last week and pounced on them at 3/4's. A similar thing may happen tonight and if the leaders go at each other she can sweep them all.

Race #10

#1 ROMANTIC MELODY Left very quickly last week and had to take up as 5 others left too. She was then parked the mile to a very fast pace and was still coming at the wire in an ultra game, super effort. She will make the lead tonight with that early speed she flashed last week and she will beat these for fun. B. Miller took the 3 year old over her, but Case gets the call and he will have her in the winner's circle. Even money would be more than a gift on this one.
#3 PIPELINE B. Miller opted off the winner to drive this one, who is most likely staked this summer. She needed her last start and raced well despite having the 8 hole. She saved some ground the first 5/8's and found herself behind the top pick turning for home. She was under a mild drive and was actually closing a bit on the top pick at the wire. She'll have to be VERY good to beat the top pick, but she should finish 2nd anyway.
#2 HOOTER CAKES Was too far back last week to have any chance. Prior to that she had been closing very well in the lane and from the 2-hole should be able to stalk the pace. All she needs is room at the top of the lane and she'll get up for 3rd in here.

Race #11

#3 MIZZ OAK Gets the class relief she needs tonight and that should help. Last week she never fired a shot to a tough winner when she was last at the 1/2. Before that she just missed on the lead against a VERY good horse. She should be able to make the front tonight and Case will get this one to the wire first.
#7 BROADWAY TRIKCS Is saddled with the outside post, however, she gets a big driver change to B. Miller tonight. She will need some luck to get into position, but with live cover and if she's close turning for home she may be able to complete the exacta.
#4 SOUTHERN COUSIN Is another that gets a big driver change (at least in my opinion). Whenever Hawk gets off Belcher's horses they seem to improve. This one has been in the barn 3 weeks and should be better. Add to that some class relief and a history for horses finding new form out of no where gives this one the value nod.

Race #12

#6 BELLE'S DANA Has a ton of ability when he stays flat. Just watch him behind the gate at the top of the turn and if he looks comfortable he is a super bet. He has a ton of speed will go right to the front if he minds his manners. The only problem is he breaks about 50% of the time....so beware.
#1 PATIO PETE Was too far back last time and that killed any hopes this front stepper had. Before that he was a sharp front end winner against a level below. He will need his best against these, but from the rail he will use his speed and rates a big shot.
#2 RING S'MORE Is going VERY well right now and will be the likely post time favorite. He just missed last time out with a 2 hole trip against a very classy sort and before that he was in a 3 way photo with 2 good ones. Sam knows how to make him go the best and he is back aboard tonight. A gimmick must.

Race #13

#1 AMBER PLUMSTED Was first over against better last week and still paced a fast mile. She drops toa very sweet level tonight and should be able to use her speed to make the lead or get the 2-hole. Either way she looks like very good value on the drop in here.
#2 CINDI HANOVER The bottom drops out on this one, as she suddenly finds herself in for 1/2 the tag she's been racing at. She really doesn't have much form, but the drop and the post position, along with the lack of depth in here, give her a chance to share with her best.
#8 JV'S PAZZO Broke on the move last time out and that is a concern...she may want to just stay flat tonight. However, before that she had very nice efforts against much better than these. She has some early speed to get position and can also pass them in a hurry with her strong 3rd 1/4 move. She gets a better driver tonight in Grismore and if he "goes" with her she can really add value in here.

Race #14

#6 DANCEHALL FLOOZY Drops out of a tough series and is on Lasix for only the 3rd time. She finds herself in against a group that is win starved and Ward should have this one pointed for the front. If she gets there in good shape she can send you home a nice winner.
#2 SHESABIGGUY Is the 2nd Hopper trainee that gets Case tonight. This one too is not much of a horse, but with Case in the bike I'm sure we will see a different animal. This horse becomes a VERY good play if the #2 in the 5th race does anything.
#1 JAZZY SAKRA Has troubles staying on stride and that is an obvious concern. However, she has a lot of ability and is competitive at a much higher class. If she minds her racing manners she is a danger in here.
#9 FRESH FIRE Also drops out of a tough series where she was doing her best to pick up small checks. B. Miller is up tonight and from the 2nd tier she is a superfecta consideration.
