Taiwan Trip

Taiwan ... Taipei & Hsin Chu(April-May'00)

The very first day I came here, the chauffeur was at the airport with my name spelt on a board. On the way I asked him, "So how far is Hsin Chu?" I had to repeat (I was earlier told ki-yaha English sabhi ka bauht hi fatela hai!)...
"Hsin chu", I said louder... He repeated nodding his head-"Hsin chu."...
I asked - "Yes... How far?"
Chaufffeur(nodding his head more vigorously & assuringly) - "How far,...how far!!"
The next half hour I thought it wiser to wait 'n find out the answer for myself.
Taiwan,...Also the place that taught me to eat with chopsticks and to eat with the taste buds closed...."eeeeEEE!!!"

The beautiful lively city of Taipei. Seen here is the CKS Memorial Hall, the Taj Mahal equivalent of Taiwan, devoted to their first President.
At the same place I met me a group of cheer leaders; practising their dance at the place. Did try some steps with them! And they showed me some temples and places around in Taipei.
