CALIFORNIA WINE AND CHEESE SPREAD
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
6 T Rose wine
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1-1/2 t powered ginger
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cayenne pepper or Tabasco (drop)
Fresh pears

Put cheese through ricer, blend with all seasonings.  Serve on wedges of fresh pear.
