Band History

(SouND_BLinD  is the new bandname replacing the name Minus Defect.)

	: Basically a new evolved band and a result of drawing the different essence of music and merging them into one. Currently a three piece band, SouND_BLinD seeks to achieve a richer sound and heavy tones. The band's style ranges from hard rock to alternative. The band's initial experiments are however on Japanese Rock covers. The foreign feel to their attempt of playing Japanese songs brought them inspirations to write their own. In Late May 2002,  SouND_BLinD  known at this point of time as Silent Disorder) was formed for the Hereen June 8th Gig. Vince and Hanse have known each other for 2 years but have been searching for a complete and permanent band. Vince got to know Ray in National Service and immediately deployed him as a drummer for trial. Steve came into the scene during an IRC conversation and we met up to jam for the first time. Hanse the bassist was interviewed on FM 96.3 on AIR about the band(known then as MinuS DeFecT) on 24th of May 2002. The band was also featured in FM 96.3 's website along with other jrock bands that performed on 8th June's Hereen Jrock gig cum cosplay 2002. In Sept 15th 's COSFEST 2002, held in Pasir Rise NTUC Resort's great white Dome, the band was officially renamed SouND_BLinD. SouND_BLinD performed two fast Jrock numbers(edited covers)and two slower english numbers(one covers, one original) in this event. October 27th 2002 - Steve the lead guitarist officially left  SouND_BLinD Interested Jrock influenced Lead Guitarists with showmanship and ready to perform, pls Reply with your hp number and short introduction including stage experience and musical preferences. SouND_BLinD  apologises for the changes in band names. It was done for various undisclosed reasons.
