Summary:   Emperor Palpatine has a new weapon -- one that can annihilate a planet. But he's not targeting a planet -- he's targeting the future of the Jedi, Leia's children. It looks like a hopeless situation for Luke Skywalker, who has the critical task of protecting the children. But it's not the first time Luke has found hope where none existed. The finale to the Dark Empire series is collected here. Review: Good:  Hmmm... different guy doing the art. LOOKS better, especially Leia, Lando and Chewie, but not much. Oh yeah, and the Emperor FINALLY dies... Bad:  Everything else... Yeah it was something I wanted to read just to have the series concluded but... everything seemed to fall into place all too well. The first two in the series took up 6 comics, this one had only two. I guess they realized it wasn't working and decided to end it fast. Back to the New Republic Era. Back to Star Wars Eras.
