Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina
Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina
Edited by: Kevin J. Anderson
Summary:
"Mos Eisley Spaceport, you will never find a more retched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."- Obi-Wan Kenobi
In a far corner of the universe, on the small desert planet of Tatooine, there is a dark, nic-i-tain-filled cantina where you can down your favorite intoxicant while listening to the best jizz riffs in the universe. But beware your fellow denizens of this pangalactic watering hole, for they are cutthroats, assassins and troopers, humans and aliens, gangsters and thieves....

Review:
Iffy... Some of the stories, like "We Don't Do Weddings: The Band's Tale" and "One Last Night in the Mos Eisley Cantina: The Tale of the Wolfman and the Lamproid" are pretty good. But overall this one is a tad boring. An interesting read was "When the Desert Wind Turns: The Stormtrooper's Tale" about young Imperial recruit Davin Felth. Sadly after AotC this story is thrown away as there were no recruits for storm troopers. They were all clones. In "Hammertong: The Tale of the 'Tonnika Sisters'" we meet Shada D'ukal for the first time, she later becomes the bodyguard/second-in-command of Karrde's organization. That about covers the good points in this collection..
