Summary: She is proof that one woman can make a difference. She is the catalyst that heled to turn a rag-tag rebellion into the Rebel Alliance. She providedthe impetus for the "Heroes of Yavin" in their attack on the Deat Star. She is the spark that ignited the flames of passion in one of the galaxy's most notorious rogues. "She," of course, is Princess Leia, the leader--and heart--of the Rebellion against the Empire. THe four stories in this volume follow Leia from the weeks just before the events in A New Hope, to the time just before The Empire Strikes Back--from her first transforming experience with armed rebellion, to facing the eamifications of the destruction of her homeworld, to the beginnings of true love. Four great stories, one amazing woman! Review: Good: Good all around. Good artwork and stories. I liked the chance to get to know Leia more. To see she wasn't always the confident leader we see in the movies. Bad: Not much actually happens... the first tale, Princess...Warrior is really the only place where anything happened. The rest had little actual effect on anything in the overall storyline from what I can see. Back to the Rebellion Era. Back to Star Wars Eras. |
