X-Wing: Rogue Squadron: The Phantom Affair by: Michael A. Stackpole(story), Darko Macan(script) art by: Edvin Biukovic |
Summary: The Rebel Alliance sends Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron to the Mrlsst Academy to bid on a powerful new war technology, a miniaturized cloaking device. But Wedge Antilles wasn't counting on facing an Imperial counterbidder, much less Loka Hask, the one-time space pirate responsible for the deaths of his parents! The bargaining table remains neutral ground, but as Rogue Squadron is framed for crimes the didn't commit, they discover that an active Academy campus can be a hotbed of intrigue, sabotage, murder, . . . and rebellion! Review: Good: Always been a fan of Stackpole's work and this didn't let me down. Excellent work, IMO. Being the second of the Star Wars comics I've read this was far better than Dark Empire, and the art work easily superior. Only problem is now I want more... Back to the Rebellion Era.
