Summary:
The sodden wilderness of the remote rain-world Jabiim seems an unlikely site for one of the most controversial battles of the Clone Wars, but the recent discovery of resources vital to both the Republic and the Seperatists have made Jabiim an important prize in a galactic conflict. With the Jedi-led clone army of the Republic on one side, and the Seperatists' droid army supporting a local militia of elite Jabiimi warriors on the other, victory will soon take second place to survival.
Last Stand on Jabiim
For Anakin Skywalker, the war is a test of his obedience to the Jedi order, of his loyalty to his friends, and of his qualities as a hero. It will reveal the Jedi that he could become, and force him to confront a personal tragedy -- and his deepest shame.

Review:
It opens with a horrible battle on the miserable planet of Jabiim, Jedi Masters are being killed all over the planet and only their Padawans are left to fight. When Obi-Wan becomes a casualty it sends Anakin into a downward spiral. He longs to be the Jedi he is destined to be but he is impetuous, and while he rarely heeded the advice of his master, we learn he is even less likely to listen to another master. And we also see more about how much Palpatine wants Anakin, when he pulls Anakin off of Jabiim and abandons the other padawans and the Jabiimi loyalists. And we see how dedicated Anakin is to keeping people from dying when he tries to revive a Jedi Master by pumping her heart through the force, but in the end he just makes her passing more painful. We begin to see Anakin delve into the darkness, without Obi-Wan, Anakin can barely control himself. He begins to let his emotion take control.

SPOILERS:

A nice treat is that we get to see A'Sharad Hett again. And finally, after all this time, we see his face and learn that he, and his mother, are both completely human. And he becomes the third person to learn about what Anakin did on Tatooine.
