Summary:
Ki-Adi-Munid is a Jedi Knight of formidable strength and influence. On his homeworld of Cerea, most of the planet's citizens are happy to continue their low-tech livesof simplicity, isolated from the Republic, but a growing voice calls for the advanced technologies brought by offworlders. When Ki becomes a strong voice of opposition for such development, he is falsely charged with murderand is swiftly drawn into a web of conspiracy and intrigue that could rock the galaxy to its foundations--a web that may have the vile crime lord Jabba the Hutt and the powerful Trade Federation at its center setting the stage for Episode I The Phantom Menace!

Review:
Good:  The start of the Republic series that will continue to run until the end of the Clone Wars. We are first introduced to a member of the Council first seen in TPM, Ki-Adi-Mundi. We learn about how, as a Cerean, he is allowed a family due to low Cerean birthrates. And we see how capable he is of putting duty before family as is required of a Jedi. As the summary says it does indeed set the stage for TPM, but also for a long line of very enjoyable comics. Finally we learn about how he came to be a part of the order and one of his first missions as a Jedi.

Bad:  My only problem is at the end when Ki-Adi-Mundi becomes a Council member, he is still a Jedi Knight, which then destroys the thing from ROTS when Anakin complains about how a Knight must be made a Master before being on the Council.
