Summary: For every Jedi, there are two major events that serve as landmarks in their journey along the Jedi path. The first is the transition from the status of Padawan learner to that of a full-fledged Jedi Knight. The second is when a Knight becomes an acknoweledged Master in the ways of the Force. But for Quinlan Vos and his former Padawan Aayla Secura, mastering the Force will have to wait. When Master Tholme, the Jedi who has been a teacher and a mentor to them both, is taken prisoner along with the kidnapped scion of one of the ruling clans of the planet Ryloth, Quin and Aayla must risk everything to save him. Confronted by a father and son team of fanatical assassins who have trained their entire lives to fight Jedi, Quin and Aayla focus only on perseverance and survival. They have no way of knowing that their trial by fire will become their... Rite of Passage Review: Here we see how Quinlan and Aayla first met. The connection they have is formed almost immediately. Then we hop several years to many years later. We meet Tysr and Bok, Morgukai warriors. They sound a little like the Yuuzhan Vong... Bok will also play a role in the future. The last of the Republic comics before we staring dealing with the Clone Wars. The next in the series, Honor & Duty will deal with the Clone Wars some as well.
