Dark Nest II: The Unseen Queen by: Troy Denning

For an obscure dispute is about to explode into chaos, pitting Jedi against Jedi -- and threatening the very galaxy itself. Review: Good:  I liked this book, better than the first. Although there were some moments I just wanted to be there and start smashing heads together yelling, "LISTEN TO YOURSELVES!! IDIOTS!!" Not because of bad writing or dialogue but because the characters involved just seemed to keep making the situation worse with each thing they did. It was downright crazy at times but I couldn't put the book down, literally. Every time I had to go do something besides reading I just wanted to go back to the book. I can't wait to see what happens in The Swarm War. Seems all the Killiks are in the war now, whether it's under the control of the Dark Nest or their own volition is not fully determined but the situation isn't getting any better. And what about Leia? She's turning into a very capable jedi, provided she listens to her master more often. She seems to be more like her father than even Luke was. Bad:  Nothing too much really. I would think that Jacen is becoming a tad TOO powerful. Maybe this will be explained in greater detail later. It just seems like nothing can stop him if he wants to do it, it WILL be done. I hope it resolves a little bit more in later books. SPOILERS: Jacen and Tenel Ka have a daughter now... and they aren't married... and only a handful of people know this. I'm curious to see how that plays out. And we finally get a glimpse of the elusive Lomi Plo, when we could see her anyway which seems to be a problem when you have any doubt in your mind as Luke believes. No doubt now that she IS the "unseen" queen. But she needs to be taken out and fast. Back to the New Jedi Order Era. Back to Star Wars Eras.
