Unless she recieves meical attention soon, the badly wounded Princess and former head of the New Republic will surely die. Pursued by bounty hunters, Han Solo begins a race against time, only to find his urgent pleas for help rejected by planet after planet, as the Jedi are blamed for the continuing fight against the seemingly invincible aliens. Desperate, the Solos decide on a suicide mission. They must reach Coruscant, the New Republic's strife-ridden capital where traitors, appeasers, and assassins now share the same goal as the fierce Yuuzhan Vong: kill all Jedi. . .

Review:
Good:  It was nice to see Leia and Han finally reconcile after about a year apart. This is one of the most well-known relationships in all of Star Wars, having it's beginnings back in the movies. It was upsetting to watch it fall apart, but I am glad they have returned to somewhat normal life. I like the issues with Viqi Shesh, with her corruption beginning to show through, despite the inability to actually PROVE it. We get our first official meeting of the Wild Knights, and actually meet Eelysa. (Is it obvious I read SbS BEFORE this e-book?) It was also good to watch Leia return to health, to actually SEE some of the weakness caused by nearly losing her legs, instead of reading Conquest and having her already healed and back to normal.

Bad:  What is with Leia? Why must she always pull so much on herself? She seemed so intent on blaming her family's failings on herself, and JUST herself. Thankfully Han fixed that up in this e-book. Oh, well, hard to find many problems with this. Though towards the end it did seem rushed. As if Denning was told, "This book can only be this long. You MUST finish all plot lines by then." He just skipped a bunch of details and a few weeks seemed to just vanish. That's really all I can complain about.
