Hanwei hosts Missing II

He hosted the second season of this 4-episode documentary on missing persons in Singapore. It debuts on 1st Nov 05 and was screened weekly. Scholarly look and good diction makes him a suitable host of such a serious documentary. As an actor he also injects a sense of drama.

Hanwei will do well to host such shows! After all it was among the top 5 most watched shows during the screening period.

Hosting Missing

Reading the Script gives him goose pimples

Besides busy filming the new drama Ashes of Time Hanwei recently also hosts the documentary Missing. He revealed," As the show reports on those who are missing or no longer in this world, I get goose pimples when I read the script at night in my home. Not that I am afraid but just couldn't imagine where those missing has gone. The feeling is really mysterious!"

To Hanwei hosting Missing is very pressuring because he had to say lots of words within a time frame. Also had to report the background materials of those missing in a serious manner. There cannot be any mistake. For Hanwei who has little hosting experience, it's not easy.

"It's good in a sense as I can take the chance to 'polish' my Mandarin and train myself to be more eloquent."

Hanwei and I belong to those who talk with a speed  "without punctuation mark". During hosting of the programme, the producer specifically remind him," Slow down, slow down more."

Time can help succeed.  Hanwei can now "slow down" a little when he talks..

The hosting took Hanwei to various locations where the missing persons had been. His engaging style makes the storyline even more gripping and intriguing.

Of course, besides the story there is his suave looks... Some close-ups (click for bigger image):
