Starry, Starry Nite
中新歌会2004
A collaborative effort
between MCS and China's CCTV. MCS artistes and S'pore's celebrities flew to
Beijing to perform with China's artistes in this variety show.
They performed live in Beijing in early June.
It was first broadcast on CCTV3 on Jun 21 & shown on Channel 8 in Singapore
on 4th July.
Hanwei was
the only Singapore artiste who sang with China's singer- Po Wen (柏文).
They sang Shen Qing Xiang Yong( “深情相拥”).
As he has never sung this song before, recording
& rehearsal was held in China.
In the background is the edited version of the song they sang

"Chen Hanwei is obviously
deeply immersed...so when the song ends, Chen Hanwei kissed Po Wen's hand & won a genuine round of applause. This can count as the only "planned" emotive moment of that night's show.."

After
the show

They
thought celebrating at a Russian restaurant will be special. but found
out that the foreign food didn't suit them. Luckily there was red wine
to help boost spirit, the atmosphere is equally high. Pay attention to
Hanwei, Calvin & Yiwu in the first row. They are beginning to show
abnormal weird expressions |
Hanwei is the
undisputable Prince of Piano
->The recording ended successfully.
Interest still lingers & everyone wants Chen Hanwei to play the
piano. In the end, his flowing enthusiasm just could n't stop. He
played 8 pieces of music in a row. Without doubt he should be given
the new title of Prince of Piano. |

On the night before going
back, Sharon took last minute chance to reward herself with foot
reflexology. Before leaving she accidentally found Hanwei & Calvin
relaxing their muscles next door. It seems they are in the same
gang who enjoy reflexology |
