So, after a few months of running this site, I have finally taken the "About Me" section off of my main page and moved it here.  As I promised, I added more pictures of me (in uniform at that), the love of my life Crystal, and the place I work in.  It still isn't enough for me... but if you are even remotely interested in who I am, read on!

Here I am in all the glory of a Marine Corps camoflage utilities uniform.  Oh yay.  Who aim I!?  Well... my official name is Chevee Tyler Dodd.  Chevee as in Chevy the car... but I go by Tyler.  Very few people in my life right now call me Chevee.  Mom of course is one of them... and if you scroll down a bit you will find  another... the SINGULAR most important thing in my life.  Her name is Crystal. A bit about me... I am 22 years of age.  Born on February 22, 1979 in a small town called Fairmont, West Virginia.  I grew up there, but don't  intend on living there.  You are probably looking at your monitor right now goint "Wow, what a hick" but NO... that is one thing I am not.  I may have grown up in Appalachiia, but I actually lived in a city and wasn't subjected to the Country life (too much).  I don't speak with a 'twang'... I hate trucks, country music, square dancing, rodeos, shotguns, snuff, and anything else associated with a 'hick'.  Currently I am serving the country in the wonderfol state of Hawaii.  Isn't that just great... really, I HATE being here... Hawaii is a great place... if you don't mind being trapped here all the time.  Only a little more more than a month to go and I leave here, and the Marine Corps, to go do what I shouild have done... go to college and marry the most wonderful person in the world. You may ask what the word Haole is doing in my URL.  Well, it is Hawaiian.  It technically translates to foreigner, but here it is mostly used to denote white people.  Yes, I am VERY white... German/English descent.

I hope all these shots of me don't blow your computer up... but I thad fun with the digital camera I 'borrowed' from the Marines. Below you can see a shot of the warehouse I work in.  This is probably illegal.. but who cares!?

And here she is... the thing that everyone should have, yet few seem to find... their TRUE Love.  This is Crystal...the MOST IMPORTANT thing in  this world to me.  She is worth anything I would have to give up to keep.  If it weren't for her, I would UNDOUBTEDLY be dead.  We have been together for many years now... even though the last three years we have only seen each other once a year.  This December I am going home to ask her to Marry me.  She already knows this of course, and we have talked extensively about it. * Update* - 02/03/01 I DID go home and on January 8th I DID ask her to marry me... in the Airport before I boarded the plane.  To quote her, "Absolutely."  YAY!!!  I am now an official Fiancee!!! If ever you are given the chance to find your true Love.. then maybe you can be as happy as I.
