The Mona Lisa is a portrait of Lisa del Giocondo, the young wife of a Florentine merchant. So it is often called La Gioconda. It became famous because of the mysterious smile of the subject. Leonardo arranged her folded hands so that the figure formed a pyramid design.

In The Last Supper, Leoanrdo had chosen Christ as his central theme. The other men were Christ's disciples.

In this painting, Leonardo also used the pyramid design. Which represent Leonardo's style in the blurred outlines, and the realism of the dark and light.

Certain details were left unfinished, such as angel's left had and Christ's back. Leonardo has given the scene a mysterious beauty by veiling everything in shadow.
