Crimson Sunset

Part Two

Demitri swirled the deep red wine in his delicate crystal glass, resting his chin elegantly on his hand as he lounged about on the rich-green satin love seat in his own private chambers.

It had been all but three days since he brought that Lorias boy to his secluded little mansion deep within the Dark Mountains, Demitri keeping his distance after that first night.

Under the care of Demitri's most trusted servants, Lorias was kept like a small pampered prince in the highest room in the tallest tower (Or so Lorias felt, though in reality he was but a few rooms down from his Master himself.) Lorias was in no way unprovided for, he was only kept like a doll in a well-kept attic until his services became necessary. That first night with his new little prince had been pure, unabashed bliss as far as Demitri was concerned, little
care went to the fact that Lorias mentally kicked and screamed all the while though his body was physically spellbound.

The wooden double doors creaked open slowly as a cautious young servant with a silver wine tray entered. Dressed in baby blue silk garments, the youth carefully swayed himself across the room to his master. Demitri glanced up out of his thoughts with little change to his expression.

"There would be fine, Percy."

The addressed Percy nodded solemnly despite the anxious pounding in his chest, moving to set the tray down atop the tiny night stand Demitri indicated. He bowed and made to exit when the sound of his Master's voice stopped him in mid-step.

"Percy."

"Y-Yes, Master? What can I do for y-"

"Come here."

Percy felt his heart almost stop before it nearly jumped out of his rib cage and bounce into his throat. He shy but obediently stood before his Master.

"Don't look away from me."

"Y-yes Master. Sorry, Mast-"

Demitri grabbed the boy's chin in his right hand and pulled him close.

"Why have you hardly come to visit me lately? I've missed you." Came the silky voice with the hint of malevolence. Demitri moved closer breathe against Percy's trembling pink lips.

"I-I've gotten little work to do in your private chambers, My lor-"

Demitri pulled Percy closer, crushing his lips against those of his shocked young servant, forcing Percy to shudder and part his lips to Demitri's will. He moaned softly in confusion but didn't dare pull away (lest be punished). Demitri leisurely enjoyed himself before he rested back and pulled Percy into his lap. They sat with the silence for a few seconds as Percy caught his breath before Demitri spoke.

"My beautiful young Percy," Demitri cooed as he stroked the youth's deep black hair, "With your flaming red eyes and soft, dark hair...I can't stand it when we're apart...Did you know that?"

Percy swallowed the lump in his throat and allowed his lord to tilt his chin up to meet the ice blue eyes.

"A-as you wish, My Lord."

Demitri leaned down to claim another kiss before he ordered Percy to take his silver tray instead to the room of his 'little prince'. He gave little of a farewell as he picked up a tiny leather bound book and sent Percy on his way.

Demitri chuckled as the doors closed.

Lorias nearly jumped out of his skin as the door to his 'prison' eased open. He stared cautiously at the red eyed, black haired youth that entered.

"I-I've already told you people, I don't need anything."

Percy narrowed his eyes and came closer. He didn't mean to be jealous...but this boy was obviously a rival to his Master's heart. However, seeing the boy's situation, Percy's kind heart couldn't get himself to be angry.

"My Master told me to bring this to you. That's what I'm going to do."

Lorias eyes him silently as the servant about his age came to place it at his bed side.

"H-how old are you?" Lorias asked almost shyly. Though he didn't really want anything to do with anyone related to that...'man'...it had been three days since he'd talked to anyone...

"I am 19."

Lorias looked down at the sheets suddenly and nervously swirled his finger silk.

"o-oh."

"And you?"

Lorias' golden eyes shot up. They gleamed hopefully. Was this boy really going to hold a conversation with him?

"Eighteen. I shall be nineteen soon however." He answered a tad quickly.

"Is that so?" Percy's smile hid his pity. He felt for this poor young man who glowed with gentle innocence. His chest suddenly tightened.

"D-do you live here?"

"I have for about three years, I believe."

"I see..." Lorias looked away. He was torn between trying to keep the servant talking with idle chit-chat or going straight to the important questions that had been eating at his mind since he'd arrived here.

"What's your name?" Percy gently inquired.

"My name is Lorias, Lorias...um, just Lorias." He blushed, deciding at the last minute not to reveal his full name.

"And I am Percy, Percy Vellon, though Percy is fine." He smiled. Lorias tried to smile back. He could feel warm tears drop down his pale cheeks before he whipped his face away.

"I-I'm sorry." He cried weakly before bringing his hands up to cover his humiliation. Percy sat at the edge of his bed and embraced him. Lorias stiffened with shock.

"Don't be afraid," the older boy comforted softly, bringing up a hand to smooth the auburn locks, "Master is not a bad or rough person. He certainly doesn't with to harm you or use you against your family."

Given the comfort of companionship, Lorias gave himself up to the warmth and sobbed openly.

"Will he ever release me? Will I never see my beloved home or my family again?"

"I'm afraid I cannot give you an answer for I myself do not know it. I was taken once as you are now..."

Lorias looked up in horror, the realization of his situation striking full like a punch in the gut. He jumped back, nearly dropping from the mattress to the stone floor below had he not been entangled in the sheets.

"N-no! That can't be! You said three years...I'm not staying here for three years! How can that be!? This is ludicrous! Insane! I refuse!"

The young prisoner finally freed himself and slid back to stand against the far wall.

Percy stood as well. He took a step forward.

"'I' am not your enemy. You have no need to fear m-"

Lorias was nearing the edge of madness, tearing staining his pretty face.

"Stay back! Do not dare come any closer!"
