WOW what a few months weve had! Last year we finally purchased our own house, yeah I go backwards a fair bit, if you look at my life, I got pregnant, then pregnant, then married then divorced then pregnant then married than pregnant then pregnant THEN got my own house.   Interest rates being so high made it virtually impossible for anyone with a large family on even a decent wage to get a mortage but we preservered and finally found a mortage broker who didnt laugh at us (if you live in CHCH NZ and want to know more, email me!) so we saw a house, signed papers a few days later and moved in just before christmas.

So we now live in Oxford, North Canterbury, and things are good the kids start their new school next week and Quin starts creche on wednesday. and weve all settled into country life.

A friend of ours decided us living in the country ( on a decent hunk of land) meant we NEEDED a goat. His name is Ba-art and hes about 2 months there.  he chases the kids around ba-aing and nudging them. once his horns grow bigger it will be  more than nudging.

Im still fat. havent done much lately to try and lose any weight. so no ones fault but mine, at least though I did get through my birthday, and xmas without gaining any, Ive been the same for months and months now. once I wean Nate I will definately look into losing some!
