We've all played this type of game at one point or another.
There are a million and 1 clones out there for every system imaginable.
What makes this one special is that it's the first one on the NES.
It's like Scorched Earth on the PC.
A tank combat game where you and an opponent face off over 10
different worlds. Each world has a different gravity, windspeed, climate,
etc ...
You change the X and Y speed of your shots and try to kill your opponent
first ;)
The first thing you will notice when you load this game up
is the amazing soundtrack. Memblers and Bananmos did a fantastic job here.
The title screen graphics are top quality and the in game graphics are great
too.
The only thing I could fault it on is the unusual firing mechanics.
I'm used to playing these sorts of games with a Cannon angle vs Shot power
method but this uses a X speed vs Y speed method.
A very minor complaint about a top notch brew.
Also there is apparently 4 different endings. I haven't played through yet.
This can only be a good thing, right ;)
