Dead or Alive 2

We, the hard2hate2000 staff in UK have got our filthy hands on Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore for PS2. There have been rumors about it being no different from the Dreamcast version, but these rumors are incorrect. The PS2 version runs much smoother than the Dreamcast version and may even have slightly enhanced graphics. What Tecmo did not include in the Dreamcast version is in the PS2 version. Another few extras which the US DC version does not have is the new CG gallery mode and a new character, Bayman. As it stands, the "Hardcore" part of the name will already bring smiles to the faces of many male gamers. Dead or Alive 2 for the PS2 game console is a true masterpiece. Sorry, Street Fighter fans, but this game makes EX3 look like the original Street Fighter II for SNES. DOA2 is one of the most realistic games I have ever played. Unlike Tekken, it does not shoot out little unrealistic sparks every time your hit makes contact on the opponent. In the beginning of every battle in story mode, every character has a short cinema. A negative of this game, however, is the small amount of characters that are playable. Tekken Tag has 36 characters while DOA2 only has 13 characters. One of the most spectacular features of this game is the massive, multi-level, multi-room arenas. The huge arenas allow players to throw each other through walls, into electrified fences, and off rooftops, and continue to fight in the next room or on the lower level of the arena. Equally as spectacular are the women of the game -- it seems to have its own "boobie- jubbling" engine built into the game. The realism and the lack of clothing on the female fighters really adds that extra edge to the game for us male gamers.
