Final Fantasy X

We all knew it would take a while for the full
potential of the Playstation 2 to be realised. But now it
looks as though Square has harnessed the bulk of it's
considerable power to produce Final Fantasy X, a game
that's going to revolutionise the way we percive
adventure games!

The game won't just feature one or two central characters,
but thousands. Played over the Internet, gamers will be
able to pick their own hero from an immense cast and free
roam around a virtual environment that has done away with
the old 2D landscapes in favour of a fully three-dimensional
universe. The speech boxes of old have now been replaced
by spoken word which is uttered by every in-game character
via some amazing facial animation.

Square proudly showed-off the very first in-game screenshots
this month and as you will see, Final Fantasy will be
rather special. Rest Assured.
