Mahumodo make estrained melodic
highly creative hardcore/nu-metal that's a heavy
as anyone when it needs to be - What Mahumodo
have over the others is their understanding of
light and shade, that restraint can add to the
brutality Mahumodo are a more "at ease with
themselves" version of Earthtone9 with a bit
of old school Pantera power around their edges
and some dark moody colour all of their own.
Mahumodo are adding a little extra here, they've
taken a little time to really get their sound
together and come up with something just a little
different than the others. Mahumodo are like a
nu-metal sound track to a Sergio Leone movie -
delicate intense screaming musical violence just
for the sake of it, for the pure bloody beauty of
it.... Yes, it is like the first time you heard
Earthtone9 or Raging Speedhorn or Medulla Nocte,
but the thing that really makes this band stand
out is the dark brooding passages, a brooding
theme that links all their songs together. (Excerpts
from Organart.com review) Visit their web
site HERE. Download samples from the
debut 'shels' EP. |

Hundred
Reasons got together in late
November 1999 following a split in the FLOOR
ranks. They clicked instantly, four ex-FLOOR
members joined by the driving force behind
JETPAK. HR concentrate on emotion, intensity and
dynamics with an epic, melodic edge, rather than
noise for noise's sake. They have recenlty
recieved good press in Kerrang! magazine. Click

Descent are
described by Kerrang! magazine as "a
colision of gutteral growls and sinister
rumblings, think Pantera meets Machine Head" Formed in
the summer of 1998, Middlesex based Descent are a
3 piece band that combine the detuned heaviness
of Machine Head, the technical skills of Carcass,
and the kind of personal lyrics only Life of
Agony and Korn touch upon. Their self-financed
album "In the System" has received
killer reviews from Kerrang!, Intoxicated,
Godreah etc. Signed to the same management as
Earthtone9, Snub, Medula Nocte etc. Descent have
played with bands such as Raging Speedhorn and
Tourni-k and are currently playing in and around
London and the south of England. "The most
energetic and brutal live band in the area."
Check out the website HERE at and
definately check them out live!! Click to listen
to Relapse from their
debut album. (WMA format - requires Windows

Scattered
Breed formed in 1992 and together they
form a highly original set up than can not be
labelled in any one category. They have developed
their own style to create noisy but intelligently
beautiful harmonies. The lyrical content is very
deep and meaningful as singer Justin channels all
his hurt and pain through his lyrics and this
comes across on stage and on record. Visit their
web site HERE
