Our fifth day of shooting was not only the most fun-to-date, but also a sign that the movie will continue to go forward in production. This day of shooting was significant in that it brought the ENTIRE cast together for shooting together for the first time. What that meant for the director was that all the energy, possibilities, ideas, conflicts, and cohesiveness of the cast would evolve out of this shoot. As a note: Moments like these come only once when making a film - so be quiet and let the movie take "shape".

As is evident in these photos, a lot of laughs as well as ideas. Josh was the trusty dolly and mic as well as an assistant to the director. No matter how planned a shoot may be - there must always be a third eye. Nadine and Leslie get more time to get a feel of the other's character. Too often , however, were the "under the breath" comments and being told to shoot a sequence once and again. Alex and Pat, having worked together for an hour the previous night were very helpful in holding that take board and keeping the action moving forward. And I cannot remember how many times people kept walking in the shots. It turned out that exams were at 7pm, cutting our shoot time an hour instead of two...
