The NORTHEAST WORKING EQUIPMENT GROUP is an informal organization whose members are dedicated to collecting and actively diving historic diving gear and surface supplied equipment ranging from the U.S. Navy MkV heavy rig to modern lightweight rigs like the SuperLite 17, Kirby-Morgan band masks and Aquadyne AH2 and Swindell free-flow air hats. The Group puts out an illustrated newsletter, The Nor'Easter, about three times a year to inform members and friends of the Group's activities, which include Working Equipment Rallies on the three-day Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends at the Willow Springs Quarry Park at Meyerstown, between Reading and Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
