1981 Camaro Z-28

The last of the 2nd-generation Camaros.

Great looking car. And it's fast with its 383 Stroker.

My 383 stroker passed away at 2:09a.m. on 29 June 2000.
A rod bearing went out and a hole was punched in the side of my block. After I pulled the engine, I reached into the oil pan (without taking it off) and pulled out some parts. I'll have some pictures when I get them developed. So...
I bought a 1979 Caprice, pulled that engine and tranny, and put that into my Camaro for the time being. It's only a 305, but it pulls well.

Now I just bought a LT1 and T56 engine and tranny from a 1997 Firebird WS-6. I have the engine and tranny installed. I'm getting a new power steering hose made and my driveshaft shortened. More pictures to come...
