Date: Wednesday, February 23, 2000
Time: 4:28 p.m.
Listening to: Kiss Me Kate - the new Broadway Cast Recording
Currently obsessing over: if you know me, you can probably fill this one in by yourself!
Currently reading: Felix Holt, the Radical, by George Eliot (not by choice!!!)
Currently avoiding: It's reading week - I'm supposed to be reading!!! :-)
Out the window: rather warm, but really grey - but the rain is holding off for now!
Quote of the day: "'Green Eggs and Hamlet' - Would you kill him in his bed? Thrust a dagger through his head? I would not, could not, kill the King. I could not do that evil thing. I would not wed this girl, you see. Now get her to a nunnery." - from The Best of Merged Books
Picture of the day:

Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, US National Junior Ice Dance Champions

So the best of all possible results happened last weekend, and my cousin and her partner won the US Nationals. How very exciting!!! I'm so upset I couldn't be there ... maybe I'll just have to go to Worlds with them! (After all, they're only in Munich! :-) It is so nice to see that all the sacrifice and hard work Tanith and her family (and Ben and his family) have put into this finally paying off. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed for Worlds!

Other than that, life is pretty much same old, same old. Everyone I know is off doing something exciting for reading week, but I have no money and too much work to do, so I'm sitting home, ignoring my work. :-) As a matter of fact, I thought I had a lot more to say in this journal entry, but I can't come up with anything at all to say!!! So maybe I'll sign off for now! I hope everyone who's having a more exciting week than I am is well and safe and happy.
