So, I hope everyone who is so inclined to celebrate had a wonderful Christmas. The excitement is starting to die down around here, and we're all feeling a bit run down. For the first year I took on a lot of the responsibility for the Christmas preparations (including having twenty people to our house before church on Christmas Eve!), and I'm totally worn out! But it's been a good time of family and friends and joy and laughter (we gave my aunt an asthma attack last night, we were laughing so hard!). The big excitement was that my sister and I got a Playstation from our parents, which we were *totally* not expecting. We've been playing it ever since! :-) My other big present was a formal dress (I don't own one) and I also gots lots of little things ... books and CDs (including the new Annie soundtrack, and the aforementioned BC/EFA Carols CD) and some really nice clothes and entirely too much stuff. What fun!
Anyway, right now I have to go to bed ... I'm very tired, and I want to read a bit more of my new book (plus, we just played Tomb Raider III for four hours, and I'm having trouble focusing on the computer screen!). I have no exciting plans for New Year's - I'm probably just going to stay home and hope the world doesn't blow up! :-) I hope everyone who does have plans is happy and safe, and I'll talk to everyone again in the New Millennium!!!
