Any dream will do ...

"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

One of Andrew Lloyd Webber's first projects with lyricist Tim Rice, "Joseph" started life as a 20 minute play. Recently, the show has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity, as productions have hit Broadway, London and Toronto stages (among others) as a full-length, full-fledged musical spectacular.

"One More Angel in Heaven"

Based on the Biblical story of Joseph, his jealous brothers, his ability to interpret dreams, and his "amazing technicolor dreamcoat," the show is a fun-filled romp through a story told completely through music, singing and dance. Favoured son Joseph's jealous brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt, where he interprets the Pharaoh's dreams and eventually becomes his right-hand man. A happy ending is inevitable, and Joseph is reunited with his father and brothers.

G.S.S. presented Joseph in December 1994, and it remains one of the biggest hits to date in G.S.S. history. Sold out crowds every night were thrilled by the enthusiasm and energy of the company, and everyone involved had a blast. This show also marked the beginning of the director's association with choreographer Debbie Donaldson, who has since contributed enormously to each show.
