John Aloisi

Pompey forward John Aloisi seen here in action for Australia in their 2-0 World Cup qualifier win over New Zealand.

Aloisi was born in Adelaide on 5th February 1976 and, before signing for Pompey, had spells with the Australian Institute of Sport, Adelaide City, Standard Liege, Royal Antwerp and Cremonese.

Aloisi made his international debut v FYR Macedonia earlier this year and has now made 6 full appearances, scoring 6 goals along the way. His greatest moment for the Socceroos was when he scored five times in the 13-0 win over the Solomon Islands on June 11th.
