GermanyMy first visit to Germany on this tour took place between 29th July and 1st August. I got the train from Holland and spent a few days in Berlin, mostly pretending to be in a Wim Wenders film, but also getting quite drunk with some delightful Irish girls. I moved on to Poland after this visit.
My second visit took place between 28th September and 1st October, on the way back from Italy to the UK. I caught some Bundesliga action and went to the Oktoberfest in Munich, went to the top of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze and visited my friends Kerstin in Stuttgart and Sabine in Heidelberg.
