Around the World with Hardy(T)

Slovakia

I visited Slovakia between 6th and 11th August, making the border crossing over from Poland. I simply have to report the fact that I was subjected to an hour and a half solid of Abba's greatest hits, on the accordian, during the bus journey to the border! Once in Slovakia, I spent some time in the unfortunately named village of Horný Smokovec, hiking in the High Tatry and had a weekend in the capital, Bratislava, where I managed to catch some exciting Ligy I action.

I made the short journey from Bratislava into the Czech Republic on 11th August.
