Happy Homecoming
By Bekka Mouri
(Aly and Bekka make it home.)
Clavicus steered the cruiser carefully back into the bay, keeping one eye peeled for anyone who might tell Cossack about his unauthorized flying. Molag and Peryite stood at the boarding platform, arms crossed over their chests. As soon as the hatch was open, they stepped onto the ship. “ What is the meaning of this? Do you know what the penalty for flying a cruiser without the proper permit is? “ Peryite asked.
“ Cool it, kid. I‘m older than you and I don’t need any of your lip, “ Clavicus cut his eyes at Peryite.
“ Besides, I did it for a good cause. “
Peryite arched an eyebrow, “ Really now? “
“ If you would just look behind you, “ Clavicus sighed, pointing towards the seating area.
Peryite looked over his shoulder. “ Ah, Lady Aly and Lady… Bekka? Is it you? “
Bekka nodded, “ Yes, Peryite. “
Molag looked at the two strangers sitting across from Bekka. One was a Drule male and the other was a Drule female. “ Who are they? “
Bekka put out her hand, “ This is my friend Namira… “
“ N-N-Namira Dagon? “ Peryite’s eyes grew wide as he recognized several of the same features the young lady shared with her deceased brother. Her eyes were the same color but she did not have the evil look he had. He had seen the girl for a moment the day he and the other bounty hunters met Mehrunes at his estate. She had peered out of one of the windows but hid when Peryite looked at her.
“ Do I know you, sir? “ Namira blinked.
Peryite shook his head, “ Uh, no. Your brother spoke of you a few times… “
“ You knew my brother? “ Namira narrowed her eyes. “ You’re one of them, aren’t you? You ARE one of the men my brother left with, leaving me all alone in that empty house. I recognize you now. “
Peryite did not like the look in Namira’s eyes. He put his hands up as he stepped back, “ I am not that way anymore. I am good now. “
Namira looked at Molag and Clavicus, recognition flashing across her face. She growled, “ I hate all of you… You wanted to help Mehrunes harm Bekka! “
Bekka touched Namira’s shoulder, “ Namira, they ARE good now. You shouldn’t hate them. “
Namira looked at her, “ But… “
Bekka shushed her, “ Please, give them a chance. They are harem guards now. “
Namira let out a sharp sigh, “ Okay but they will have to gain my trust. I will not give it to them readily. “
Bekka looked at Ryat, “ And this is Ryat. He was our bodyguard during the trip. “
The three men nodded but didn’t say anything as Ryat stood. He waved slightly, “ Got room for another guard? “
Peryite looked at Ryat, “ That is for Gina and The Grandmaster to decide. How did Clavicus find you? “
Aly stood up, “ Through the mental link I share with my brother but Tim was kidnapped shortly before we found them. I can’t contact him at all and I am worried he is in danger. “
“ Then we need to go after him, “ Molag said.
Aly shook her head, “ Not that simple… I can’t find him until the link is re-opened. Without it, I haven’t the faintest idea where to start looking. “
Clavicus stood, “ Can we continue this in the harem? I don’t want to get caught sitting in the driving seat of this cruiser. Cossack and Dragon would have my hide for just being in it. “
Peryite grinned, “ Well, if you hadn’t almost wrecked three in training class, they would feel differently, I am sure. “

Samara walked through the harem towards the lounge, ready to settle down and watch a few movies. She had a nagging feeling that something wasn’t quite right but figured it was because Bekka and Maeve were still missing. She nearly dropped the plate of snacks she was carrying when she looked down the hall. She blinked a couple of times, making sure she was seeing what she was seeing.
Peryite, Molag and Clavicus were coming through the door. They were accompanied by a Drule female, a handsomely rugged looking Drule male, Aly and… Bekka! The plate felt to the floor, making a soft thud on the carpet as she ran for the group. “ Please tell me I’m not dreaming! “ She cried as she wrapped her arms around Bekka.
“ No. This is for real Ma, “ Bekka whispered, a tear slipping down her cheek.
Samara took a step back, “ Who are your friends? “
Bekka looked at Namira, “ Sammie, this is Namira. She saved me before Mehrunes’ house burned down. “
Samara shook the girl’s hand, “ How wonderful! “
Ryat cleared his throat and Bekka glared at him. “ I was getting to YOU. Sammie, this is Ryat. He played bodyguard during our journey. “
Samara looked him over, “ Really? Well, thank you for keeping her safe. “
“ It was nothing, “ Ryat smiled.
Bekka rolled her eyes, “ Anyway, where’s everyone else? “
“ You seemed to have come in during ‘naptime’, “ Samara giggled, giving Bekka and Aly a knowing wink. “ Everyone has retired to his or her quarters for a bit. Except for Tamy and Michelle, who are currently on a trip with Lotor. “
“ Aly told me about that. He wants to get to know every one again, “ Bekka looked at Aly, “ And get to know the new Scribes as well. I have a feeling he isn’t very pleased with either of our shenanigans. “
Aly wrinkled her nose, “ Hey! “
Bekka looked at her, “ Well… we DID come here for Lotor, right? “
Aly crossed her arms over her chest as she chewed her lip. “ Right, “ She sighed, “ But it’s not like he was every around… “
Samara stepped in, “ Now, let’s save that for some other time. I think Gina might be ‘awake’. I am sure she is dying to see you. “
“ I’m dying to see her too, “ Bekka cast a glace down to her stomach. “ We have a lot to talk about. “
Samara was puzzled by Bekka’s gesture but gasped when she realized what it meant. “ Bekka? Are you? “
“ I want to go talk to Gina first, “ Bekka smiled. “ But, yes Ma, I am. “
“ After you talk to Gina, I want you to go right to Sarah! We have to make sure everything is going okay! “ Samara hugged Bekka again.
Bekka nodded, “ I know. “
