Think About This...by PJ Flood

DESTINY

Do you have a destiny? Well of course you do everyone does. What is yours? You are not here on this earth by chance. God gave you life for a reason, a purpose, and if you don't get in His way, you will fulfill your destiny.
When you were born, you had everything that you will ever need to fulfill your destiny. All your gifts were there (and still are). God breathed the soul and the spirit into Adam, and now when a baby is conceived it is automatically there. The soul addresses the body, the spirit addresses God, and the physical body addresses the world. You are all God's kids. You have been created and called for a purpose. I remember the first time that a lady pastor (Sister Mary) told me that God had a mighty work for me to do if I didn't change His destiny for me. I was 12 years old at the time, and all my life I have seen God at work in my life (but that's another story). Now there are those who have been called by God, but the old sin nature has taken over (because we let it) and the destiny that was once ours became no more. You do not take a vacation from God. He never takes one from you. Remember when Jesus died on that cross for me, He took away

the right that the devil had to mess with me but it’s not over till the fat lady sings. You can come back, take that old sin nature, lock it up, and get back to fulfilling your destiny. Do it now before it’s too late. Jesus will be back for us before you know it. Be ready.
Those of us who stick in there through thick or thin, who knows what Jesus did for them at the cross (because you see, we can do nothing at all on our own). It’s all about Jesus and what He did for us. We must look to God daily and He will lead us all the way. Remember, when we change the destiny that God has for us, oh how it must hurt His heart. You say how can we do this? Well just remember Jesus is the source, and the Cross is the means. You can make it. Remember when the enemy makes you feel rejected, you feel down and out, you step up to a mirror and say to yourself, “I am God’s child” and “no weapon formed against me will prosper”. Then go on about your business at fulfilling your destiny. Always remember your walk in His strength, in His name, and in His might. He is able to keep you from stumbling all along the way. Victory is yours only through the cross (1Cor 1:18).
