Webbie Dynasty Fight

Kelly:

Clayton Webb stood in the doorway of ER 2 staring into a pair of green eyes so like his own.

"What the..."

Dr Cameron looked at the harried looking man in the trenchcoat standing in the doorway, a mirror image of himself.

"Who the.."

Traci stopped glaring at Casey and quipped.

"Hmm you think they'd be able to finish a complete sentence between them huh?"

Despite still wanting to strangle Traci for putting them in this situation, Casey smiled.

"No doubt about 'em...gotta love the conversational skills of these 'professional' men."
Clayton Webb looked at Charlie Cameron and grinned.

"Whatever you do to these two...do it without anaesthetic will ya?"

Cameron grinned back.

"It will be my pleasure I assure you. These two have been nothing but trouble since they got here."

"You think they've been trouble in here...you haven't seen them in action yet. This one.."  he said pointing to Casey, who smiled sweetly at him. "...had THIS one committed."

"And the other one?"

Cameron said with a smile thinking that having Traci committed might not be such a bad idea.

"The other one, broke out of the asylum, joined an evil ex agent by the name of Palmer, kidnapped my old partner, her cousin and was generally running riot..."

"So she's the more dangerous of the two?"

Cameron asked looking at the leather restraints on Traci's wrists and feet, wondering if maybe it was time to get out the chains.

"Well, no...they're about the same actually."

"And these two work for the Government?"

"Yup, they're my partners."

"You have 2 partners?...."

With a scream of primal rage at the use of the word Partner...Traci broke free of her restraints and launched herself at Casey again.

She never saw Casey pick up the scalpel.....

Traci:

Before anyone knew what was happening, Traci had pushed Casey on the floor and both women were struggling.

Webb and Cameron rushed over, Webb grabbing hold of Traci and trying to pull her off Casey.

Suddenly Traci let out a loud cry and Webb felt the warm rush of blood flow over his hand.
Cameron managed to drag Casey up off the floor through all her kicking and struggling.

"I am *not* in the mood for this, ladies," he said and he fought for control.

"Traci's bleeding."

Webb's eyes filled with fear as he felt his partner's body go limp in his arms.
He looked over at Casey, who had a satisfied smirk.

"What did you do?"

"It was self-defense, Clay," she said softly.  "You all saw her come after me."

"She used this,"
Dr. Cameron said as he held out the small scalpel now covered in blood.
By this time the ER had come abuzz with doctors and nurses rushing Traci to OR.

Webb remained standing in the middle of the ER.
One partner on her way to OR, bleeding horrifically, the other presently being restrained by leather straps of her own.

"So, ever think of going into a different line of business?  One without partners?"  Cameron asked as he watched Nurse Hathaway sedate Casey.

"After this, I'm thinking of becoming a monk in the mountains of Tibet."

Special Guest Appearance By Karin:

" Maybe that would be a good idea," Karin said coming into the ER.  " You know, the DD is really pissed of this time. Hey, why don't you become my partner?"

Seeing the shocked expression on Webb's face on the prospect of getting a third partner, she continued:
" I was just joking! I'm not stupid, I like being partnered with Lora, at least I don't have to afraid to be *accidentally*  left behind or killed by one of *partners* on a mission.
Being a partner of yours is even more dangerous than working together with Palmer."

At this moment Dr. Cameron came back.

" Mr. Webb, Ma'am," he said shaking Karin's hand.

"I'm Agent MacKenzie's sister, Karin"

Hearing this, he pulled his hand back and made a hasty retreat towards the door.
As Webb saw the panicked expression on the doctor's face because of meeting another MacKenzie, he explained:

"You don't have to worry, LTC MacKenzie is the reasonable and sane sister."

Kelly:

Traci bled to death on the OR table...time of death called at 01.03am!!
Ow..Ok I get it Traci...enough with the poking already!! I'll fix it...I'll fix it....*evil Grin*

Less than 5 minutes later Traci was wheeled out of the OR and back to the ward.

"How is she?" Webb asked Cameron wearily.

"She's fine, there was nothing wrong with her."

Webb looked at Cameron puzzled.

"Then where did all the blood come from?"

Cameron pulled out a blood transfusion bag.

"She had this under her sweater, Agent McDaniels must have pierced it when she was 'defending' herself."

Webb tried not to laugh...truly he did...but the way these two were carrying on with this partner thing was insane.

"That's Traci for you...always prepared!!" he laughed.

Cameron looked at Webb like he'd lost his mind.

"Have you ever thought of having them committed...both of them?"

"No but I'm having serious thoughts about having myself committed and ending the whole damn thing..." he said.

Cameron laughed.

"Y'know we could get back at them...seeing as how we look so alike." he said with a grin.

"What's with that anyway...we related?"

"Don't know...but...."

Traci:

Casey was getting restless beneath the straps.
She knew she was the sane one.
Why had they done this to her?

"Case?"    She smiled at that familiar face.
The one, that calmed her nightmares.

"Clay!"

He made his way to her bedside and took her hand.

"How are you feeling?"

"Better with you here."  Her eyes narrowed.  "How is *she*?"

"Traci?  She'll be fine.  No damage done.  But right now I'm more concerned about you.  You've been through an awful lot tonight."

Her heart was ready to explode.
Had he finally realized how important she was to him?

"I'd be better if I could move around."

"Um, I can go get a doctor if you want."

"No, no, I'd rather you stay here with me.  I'm sure someone will be back soon.  So are you and Dr. Cameron related?"

He shrugged.
"This is the first time I've ever met him."

"There you are!" Lucy called as she walked past the room.  "I've been looking all over for you they told me you were..."  She stopped and looked at Casey. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here..."

Casey smiled.
"I think you have him confused with Dr. Cameron."

Lucy grinned.
"Nope, no confusing my Clay with that doctor."
She leaned over and placed a kiss on his cheek.  "I'll see you later," she whispered and left the room.

Casey was furious.

Outside ER room  -

Lucy practically fell to the floor laughing.
Webb walked over to her.

"Well?"

"Oh, she's buying it big time!  Thank goodness she was strapped up cause I think she would've come after me with that scalpel."

Webb smiled.

"Thanks, Lucy.  We owe you one.  How is Dr. Cameron doing?"

"Oh, I'd say she's convinced it's you.  I'm going home now."

She handed him a piece of paper.

"Here's my number if you two need my help again."

Laughing, Webb took the paper.

"Thanks.  We'll let you know."

After watching Lucy leave, Webb turned on his heels, dressed in Dr. Cameron's extra scrubs, and headed to Traci's room.

Kelly:

Some time later Casey was wheeled into the same room Traci was being 'detained' in.
Casey looked at Traci lying on the bed and smiled at her.

"Who would've thought we'd end up this way?" She said.

Traci grinned.

"Not me...hey did you notice anything weird about Clay when he came to see you?"

"Yeah, they were trying to trick me into believing that Dr Chambers was Clay"

Casey said laughing.

"Wonder what they're up to?" Traci said.

"Y'know...if we team up, we could find out!"

"Me...team up with you?" Traci said incredulously. "Hmmm I suppose it has possibilities."

"Think about all the crap Clay has put us through. He hasn't made a decision about his partners, kept us hanging on for months...all of our problems are because of him."
Casey said looking towards the door where Clay and Charlie stood outside talking.
"And now he's teamed up with that Doctor to cause us more trouble. I think we should consider getting him back for this.."

Traci gave Casey an evil smile.

"It's a deal...can you reach that scalpel there?" she asked pointing to the instrument tray at Casey's left.

Casey stretched her hand through the leather restraining straps and caught the edge of the scalpel picking it up she cut the straps restraining her and turned to Traci.
Traci felt a moment of fear as Casey stood over her with the scalpel, but it turned out to be unfounded as Casey sliced through the restraining leather cuffs.

Traci motioned for Casey to be quiet and they made their way to the cupboard where their street clothes had been kept.
Getting dressed they made their way to the door, but outside Charlie Cameron and Clayton Webb stood talking...that exit was barred.

Casey looked around the room they were in.

The only other exit was the window and they were 12 stories above the ground.....
