Mulder & Traci ran down the long corridor towards the only other door on this floor...after finding it locked Mulder fired 2 shots from his Sig Sauer and the door opened without any problems.
"They'll never hear us coming"
Traci said dryly.
"Yeah, I'm a regular exercise in subtly"
Mulder quipped smiling.
Knowing that they only had a short time before CSM's men awoke from the gas Scully had fed through the air vents, they made their way into the lab at the other end of the building.
Michele lay curled up in a ball on the floor of the lab murmuring to herself as she watched the two people approaching.
"Michele? Are you here?" Mulder yelled.
"Michele...Alex sent us to get you...are you here?" Traci called out.
A few seconds later, a small redhead launched herself at Mulder, clawing at his face with her fingernails.
"Ow...cut that out...stop it you damn brat!"
Seeing Mulder was not going to be able to control Michele, Traci took one well aimed punch at Michele and knocked her out cold.
"Glass jaw!"
Mulder said as he picked Michele up and slung her over his shoulder.
"I thought you'd be used to handling redheads by now."
Traci said grinning.
"I prefer redheads handling me!"
Mulder said with a suggestive wink as they made their way back out of the building.
"I'm telling Scully you said that...and Casey!" Traci said with a grin.
"Tell Scully all you like...just don't tell Casey" He smiled "Dana in a snit I can handle ... Casey ... well...you know what she's like hehehe"
"Uh...yeah...I do" Traci said with a smile, she thought back to 2 weeks ago.
2 Weeks ago she and Casey were being rushed to hospital to be patched up after trying to kill each other...now they were close friends.
Go figure.
NEXT DAY IN THE ER
"Surprise!" Traci and Alex burst into Casey's hospital room with flowers, catching Clay and Casey completely by surprise.
"Hey you two...Alex...nice to see you again."
Clay said extending his hand to Krycek.
The two men shook hands and began talking as Traci and Casey picked over the box of chocolates Clay had brought with him that morning.
"Hmm...these are good...Hey, y'know what I was thinking this morning Traci?"
Casey said her eye's full of mischief.
Traci smiled whatever it was...it was bound to be evil.
"What?"
"There was someone we forgot all about getting back at...in all this excitement."
Traci gave Casey a puzzled look, trying to think who it could be.
"Who?"
"Watch!" Casey said smiling as she pushed the buzzer for the nurse.
A few seconds later Lucy popped her nauseatingly perky little head around the corner.
"Casey...what can I do for you?" She chirped.
Traci took one look at the angelic smile on Casey's face and began to laugh.
"Oh this I am looking forward to."
