It's only one week before the Crane/Hotchkiss wedding and Theresa still can't get Ethan to realize his love for her. Everyone can see the love that Ethan has for Theresa, it's so obvious, even Ethan's fiancee Gwen can see it and it breaks her heart knowing that Ethan has fallen in love with another woman, but not just any woman, his best friend Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald.

Ivy called Sam from the Crane Mansion and asked him to meet her at their old special meeting place in the park, which they shared when they were young lovers.... a place they shared before her father & the Cranes broke their dreams, stole their hopes and killed their love.

"Ivy, what the HELL do you want?" Sam demanded to know.

"Sam, I know that you love Grace, so you say.... but I want you to know that I still love you, I've always loved you."

"If you 'loved' me so much you wouldn't have married Julian all those years ago, a so-called love that we shared wouldn't have let you marry anyone else." he said coldly.

"I had no choice, I was pressured into marriage by my family, and you know how weak I was, I gave in..... father and Alistair arranged for me to marry and I just gave in!"

"Still Ivy, that's no exuse, if you really loved me, you would've never married Julian, the only man you would've ever married was me."

"I'm sorry, if I could go back to that day, I would, but I can't."

"So you just lived in a loveless marriage for 25 years and you don't regret breaking my heart?" he asked.

"Oh Sam! I have never stopped loving you to this day...... I've been in love with only one man my whole life and that is you! If only I would've told father in the beginning that I was already happy and soooooo much in love, I wouldn't of had to deal with the Cranes, much less be one!" she cried.

" Since that was the case, Ivy, why didn't you just tell your father the truth.... that we were in love, instead of breaking my heart by making me think that you left, because you fell in love with another man."

"Me love Julian! Yeah! When hell freezes over!" she laughed.

"Ivy, I don't find this conversation all that humerous." he said. "I know, I'm sorry, but me actually being in love with another man, much less Julian.... it's perposterous, the only man that I'll ever love is you."

"So let me see if I can understand this, you would rather live in a loveless marriage by being a Crane until your dying day, then to follow your heart, all because you didn't want to disapoint your dear ol' daddy?"

"Sam, that was the path that I chose to walk down when I was young, because I let father pressure me into a re-arranged marriage and I regret it. I realized the moment after I said 'I do' to Julian that I made the wrong decision." she explained.

"Then why don't you just leave him, if you don't love him?" he asked.

"I've tried, but the Cranes are powerful and I'm one thing that they don't want to let go of and one thing that they know that they can control.... I'll be damned if I'm going to let Alistair run my life, I'll get out of it somehow! Sam, I've been in love with you since the moment that I layed eyes on you & I'll love you forever, nothing has and never will change that, ever since the day that I married into the Crane family and being Julian's wife not only makes me sick, but has been hell on earth for me. I wish I would've had the will power to stand up to father and tell him that I wasn't going to marry into the Crane family, but I didn't, I was too weak.... on the day of my wedding to Julian, I hoped and prayed that you would come rushing through those doors, stop the ceremony and tell me that I couldn't marry Julian, becuz I didn't love him, that I loved you and only you!" she cried.

"Yeah, well that was a long time ago, I did something that I never thought possible, I fell in love again, and I couldn't be happier with my life at this moment, oh, what was it that was so important that you called me here to tell me?" he lied, Sam knew deep in his heart of hearts that Ivy would be the only woman he loves more than life itself.

"Sam, there's something that you must know, something that I've kept hidden from you all these years."

"What must I know, what have you kept hidden from me, Ivy?"

"I've kept this secret hidden for 25 years, I've kept it hidden deep in my heart and soul for that long, Sam."

"What secret?"

"The secret of our son." she brought herself to finally say.

"WHAT!?!?" he blurted out in shock.

"Well, Sam, you know my son Ethan, right?" Well he's the son that you and I created out of love for each other on my wedding night, that 25 years ago."

"I can't believe I'm hearing this, Ivy, why didn't you tell me sooner, ALOT sooner, then I could've actually been a father to the boy.... my son?"

"I tried, but I couldn't bring myself to tell you, if I did tell you, you would've been a proud daddy, and me already being married into the Crane family, they would've tried to take our son Ethan, away from me.... can't you see that?" she said.

"I can't believe this, I have a son that I never knew about who is around 25 years of age & you never even told me!" he yelled.

"Yes, and I'm sorry!" she cried.

"I'm happy to know that I have a son, but what totally pisses me off about this is that you kept it from me for 25 GOD damn years, Ivy! Nothing! Nothing will ever make up for the hurt that you've caused me since I've known you!" he yelled.

"Sam...." she started before he cut her off.

"Ivy, I don't want to hear it.... I can't talk to you right now, I have to think!" Sam said before leaving.

"I would do anything, absolutely anything to just be able to go back to that day I was standing at the altar with Julian, I would've canceled the wedding and find Sam and tell him how much I love him! I should've told him about Ethan the day I found out that I was pregnant with him, but it's too late and I can never go back!" she thought to herself.

There was another person listening in on Ivy and Sam's conversation and they didn't acknowledge that person at all, it was a member of the Crane household who followed her to the park..... she didn't acknowledge the mystery Crane, yet......... Suddenly, Ivy heard footsteps and they got closer and closer every second, she couldn't see who it was at first, because it was too dark to tell.... up until that person spoke.

"Oh, my god! Sheridan!" Was all Ivy could get out.

"You made my brother, Julian and everyone else think that Ethan was a Crane, how could you do that?" Sheridan asked still shocked by what she heard.

"You don't understand-" she stopped. "I wanted Ethan to have a good life, and being brought up as a Crane was the only way I knew how to give him a good life." She finished.

"But still....." Sheridan paused. "You lied to Ethan, how do you think he's going to react when he finds out about this?" she asked.

"I don't know." Was all she could say.

"He has a right to know."

"I know that, but I'm not so sure that he'll be able to handle it, besides, he's getting married in just a couple of weeks."

"Well, Ivy, if your not going to tell him, then I will......." she said as she started to walk away.

"Sheridan! No!" She yelled as she ran after her.

*** Meanwhile at the Book Cafe ***

Theresa and Whitney sat at a table in the Book Cafe talking about what else, but Theresa's love for Ethan, while Ethan confessed to Chad that he thinks he's falling in love with Theresa.

"Why can't he see it, Whit?" Theresa asked her good friend.

"I don't know Theresa, maybe because he DOESN'T love you." Whitney replied.

"I know he loves me, Whit, I just know it. Ecspecially by the way he kissed me last night." she said smiling.

"What?!?! He kissed you?"

"Yup." she smiled. "The MOST passionate kiss EVER!" She practicually yelled.

"Theresa! You don't want Ethan to know that your in love with him. Or do you?" she asked

"Well......" she paused. "He already knows, I told him last night after he kissed me." Theresa confessed.

"What? You told him that you love him? What did he say?"

"He thinks that it's just a crush and that I'm using it to get over Chuck." she said sadly.

"Theresa, when are you ever going to get it through your head that Ethan doesn't love you. He loves Gwen Hotchkiss?"

"You don't understand Whit, you just don't understand." she cried. "If you ever love someone as strongly as I love Ethan. You'll never give up. NEVER." she replied.

"I don't know, Chad, it's all too confusing." Ethan said.

"What's so confusing about it? You love Theresa."

"It's not that easy though, I love Gwen too." I added.

"What?!?! Man, how can you love TWO women at the same time, it's impossible." Chad replied as he got Ethan a drink.

"I don't know. I just do. Theresa told me last night that she's in love with me." he said as he took a drink of his water.

"What?"

"She told me that she's in love with me." he repeated.

"And what did you tell her?" he asked.

"Um... I said that it must be JUST a crush and that she's using me to get over Chuck."

"What? Man, you just made the BIGGEST mistake of your life! How could you lie to her like that?"

"Actually, I didn't lie to her. I didn't realize how I felt until this morning."

"You've got to tell her the truth, man. You've got to tell Theresa that you lo-" he cut himself off when he seen Theresa and Whitney approach.

"Tell me what, Chad." Theresa asked.

"Um..... well..... it's about the wedding, Ethan will tell you." Chad quickly covered.

"Yeah, Theresa. Can you come outside with me, there's something that I need to tell you." he said seriously.

"Sure." she replied as they walked outside together.

"Chad, what just happened here?" Whitney asked.

"Ethan's in love with Theresa." he smiled.

What?!?! No! He can't be. I mean, she'll get her heart broken if he tells her he's in love with her." she replied.

"Why do you say that?" he asked.

"Because the Cranes & Hotchkisses will do ANYTHING to keep them apart." she replied.

*** Meanwhile Outside ***

"What did you need to talk to me about, Ethan?"

"Well, Theresa, it's about last night. The kiss and-" he cut himself off.

"And me telling you how I TRULY feel?" she asked.

"Yeah."

"Ethan, I truly DO love you, it's not a crush..... I do love you." she replied.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm sure. If I was only CRUSHING on you. Would I cry myself to sleep at night knowing that I could NEVER have you. Or would I feel like a knife has been stabbed through my heart everytime I see you kiss Gwen?" she asked

"No, Theresa. That's why I wanted to talk to you. You deserve to know what I'm feeling." he replied.

"What?" she asked almost near tears.

"Theresa, I realized something this morning. I thought about everything that happened last night. Our kiss and your confession......" he paused.

"What is it Ethan?" she asked.

"I think I'm falling in love with you." he replied.

*** At Sam & Ivy's Old Meeting Place ***

"Sheridan! Please, I beg of you, please don't tell Ethan."

"Ivy, how can you ask me NOT to do that? He deserves to know!" she replied.

"I want to tell him. It's my responsibility to tell him, I have to tell him." she cried.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure. I know how much it's going to hurt him and I know the consequences, and I'm ready for them." she replied.

"When will you tell him?" she asked.

"I'm not sure."

"You have to tell him before he marries Gwen." Sheridan replied.

"The question is, how do I tell him. He'll be heartbroken." she replied.

*** Sheridan & Ivy's Conversation ***

"So, Ivy, when are you going to tell him?" Sheridan asked.

"I'm not sure, it has to be before the wedding though."

"Okay, as long as you tell him. I've got to get back to the cottage though, Luis will KILL me if he finds out I snuck out." she replied.

"I understand." Ivy replied.

"Goodnight." They both said as they went their seperate ways.

*** Outside of the Book Cafe ***

"You love me?" she asked.

"Yes, Theresa, I love you." he smiled.

"Oh my God! Ethan! You've just made me the HAPPIEST girl in the world." Theresa said as she jumped into Ethan's arms and kissed him passionately.

While Ethan & Theresa were kissing, there was somebody standing in the distance watching them in disbelief.

"Oh my God! I can't believe this." said Rebecca Hotchkiss. "He can't be in love with that 'Gold digger', he's suppose to marry my daughter." she added. "There is NO way in HELL that I'm going to let Ms. Lopez-Fitzgerald have Ethan! Hell will freeze over before that happens!" Rebecca vowed.

"Ethan?"

"Yes"

"What about Gwen?"

"Huh?"

"What about Gwen?" she repeated. "What's going to happen to here? What are you going to tell her?"

"Um.... I don't know" he answered. "Theresa-"he stopped. "The truth is, I love both you and Gwen." he finished.

*** Sheridan's Cottage ***

Sheridan finally arrives at her Cottage. She turns the headlights off and drives up slowly so Luis won't notice that she was even gone. She walks up to the cottage door slowly and unlocks the door and walks in, but somebody grabs her.

"Thought you could fool me, huh?" Luis asked her.

"Damn it, Luis! You scared the HELL out of me!"

"What were you doing out this late?" he asked. "What were you doing out there period!" he demanded an answer.

"Um.... well..... ahhhh...." she stuttered.

"I'm waiting." he said as his arms were crossed.

"A friend needed me." she lied.

"Yeah, right. That is such bull." he said angrily.

"What?" she asked angrily. "Why don't you believe me Luis, it's the truth."

"Yeah, right." he said sarcastically.

"Damn you, Luis! I was just out helping a friend!"

"I want the truth Sheridan, and I want it now."

"Okay, I wasn't out seeing a friend, but I was with somebody."

"Who?" he asked feeling jealous.

"Ivy."

"Oh." he said with a sigh of relief. "What happened?"

"I'd tell you, but I can't. It's a private manner."

"Okay, that's fine with me! It's nice to know that you can't trust me!" he yelled angrily.

"It's not that Luis it just-" she stopped. "You know what, just forget about it." she said as she headed upstairs, but Luis stopped her.

"Why won't you trust me?"

"After what I heard you say, I don't think so."

"Huh? What did I say?"

"Don't stand there and act like you know nothing, Luis. I heard you tell your friend on the phone that you were only using me to get to the Crane fortune." she finally told him.

"What?!?!? I never! Who told you that!" he yelled angrily.

"Nobody. I heard you myself."

*** Ethan & Theresa ***

"What?" she asked hurtfully.

"I love both you and Gwen." he repeated.

"I can't believe this Ethan, how can you love two women at the same time?"

"I don't know, I just do."

"Ethan! It's impossible! You either love me or Gwen!" she replied angrily.

"Theresa!" he said grabbing her. "You didn't let me finish-"

"What? I'm listening."

"I love Gwen, but the love I have for her is NO match for the love I have for you."

"What?"

"You heard me. I love you more then words can describe, the love I have for Gwen, if more of a friendship type thing."

"I love you, Ethan." she happily said.

"And I love you, Theresa." he said as they moved closer together and kissed passionately.

*** Rebecca in the distance ***

"I will NOT let this happen, there is NO way that you and Theresa will EVER be together." she quietly said to herself. "I'll will do WHATEVER it takes to keep the two of you apart. You will marry Gwen." she said as she walked off in the distance.
