~*10 years ago, Sheridan and Luis are both sixteen and best friends*~ Dear Diary : I told Luis today! I told him about the night when I think I killed Martin...Its so awful. I have been crying my eyes out. Luis hates me, he really does. As soon as I finished telling him everything, he started yelling at me. I remember his words so well, they were "How could you Sheridan??? I hate you! Don't ever fucking talk to me again!!! I never wanna see you, get out of my house now!" Writing this down is making me cry harder. My friendship with him is all over... I can't ever face him again, that is why i'm going to start a new life in Paris. He won't ever have to see me again. Sheridan finished packing her last suitcase and headed out the door, headed out to her new life and leave behind a terrible memory. As she drove to the airport she passed Luis' house and tears started to build up, but she quickly whiped them away.

Luis peeked trough his window and had seen Sheridan drive off in the limo, out of his life, which right now, felt so right. ' Thank god she is leaving, I never want to see her again' with that, he walked away from the window.

Everything was over, they thought they would never see each other, which both felt like that was the best idea, but why did they feel like they wanted to be close again...friends again...

~*10 years later*~ "Hey buddy!" Hank said rushing in the youth center.

"Hey Hank, whats up?" Luis asked not looking up.

"You'll never guess what!" Hank said with a grin.

"I'm sure I won't, what?" Luis said still looking down and going through some papers.

"Sheridan is coming back to town" Hank said joyfully.

That immediatly caught Luis' attention. "What??" He asked in anger. " NO! She can't be, I don't wanna see her, even if she is, I won't see or talk to her" Luis said trying not to yell for the sake of the kids.

"That will kinda be impossible, she's the going to be at Theresa's and Ethan's wedding" Hank replied with a laugh.

"I don't see how you could find this amusing, I can't believe it! Well then I just won't talk to her, how long is she staying for?" Luis asked.

"Permenantly" Hank relplied.

Luis simply walked out his office in anger. He really was angry that he would have to see her, but he did wanna know how she turned out to be. He did care.

Sheridan was at the airport and had just gotten off the plane. She looked around her, looked among the heads who kept passing by. She then heard her name. "Hey! Sheridan over here! " Ethan yelled waving above the crowd. "Ethan!" She yelled out happily. She ran right into his embrace. "Hi Theresa! Its been so long, how have you been sweetie?" she said pulling Theresa into a tight hug.

"I've been great!I'm so happy you're staying for good, everyone has missed you so much. Especially Mama" Theresa exclaimed.

'Everyone but Luis' She thought to herself. "I've missed everyone aswell" She said trying to hide the hurt she felt.

"Well let's go, shall we take you to your cottage or the mansion?" Ethan asked as they got into his car.

"Uhm.. the cottage please" She answered.

"Alright" He said and drove off.

~*~*~*At the Lopez-Fitzgerald~*~*~*

"Today?? Damn.." Luis said angrily to his mother.

"Luis calm yourself! Sheridan will be coming to visit today and I expect you to be polite" Pilar demanded.

"Polite? to her? Mama, how many times must I tell you that Sheridan is the reason this family fell apart, she killed papa-" He was cut off by his angry mother.

"Luis! stop that! I'm so sick and tired of this. It wasn't her fault, she was young and it was a accident" Pilar explained.

"16 is not that young mama" he snapped.

"Enough, I don't want to hear any of this anymore"

Luis shook his head and walked away. ' How can i forgive her, I can't...I just can't'

After Sheridan had settled down in her cottage, she remembered that Pilar had called her Paris, asking her to come visit the day she arrived back in Harmony 'Well I guess I should call' she thought and picked up the phone and dialed the phone number.

"Hello?" A male voice answered.

Sheridan hesitated and then spoke" Could I speak to Pilar please?" She asked in a soft voice. Luis immediatly recodnized the voice ' Sheridan...' " Yeah hold on..." He replied dryly.

Sheridan knew that was Luis...

"Hello?" Pilar answered.

"Hey Pilar! Its Sher"

"Hello Sheridan, Are you home?" Pilar asked.

"Yes, I'm at the cottage" She answered.

"Great, could you come over, I have missed you very much" Pilar asked with a hopefull tone.

"Sure, be there soon" with that she hung up.

Pilar turned around and saw Luis with lost face as he did the dishes. "Please be nice, she is coming over soon" Pilar told him.

"Yeah whatever..." with that he left the kitchen.

Sheridan walked up the stairs onto the front porch. 'well here it goes..'. She sighed and rang the doorbell.

"I'll get it!" She heard a male voice say.

Luis opened the door to find Sheridan standing there looking more beautiful then ever. When they were 16, Luis had never had any thoughts about how beautiful Sheridan really was. He was speechless, he just stood there staring at her.

Sheridan was doing the same. ' Wow...he's still so gorgeous' she thought. She broke the silence. "Hello Luis.." She said softly.

Luis could of melted right there but the horrible thoughts came rushing back to his mind. " Hey.." Was all he could tell her. "Mama, she's here" He sais moving out the way so she could come in.

"Sheridan!" Pilar exclaimed as she pulled her into a tight embrace.

"It's so good to see you Pilar" Sheridan said smiling.

"It's so good to see you too, I'll be right back, " with that Pilar left the room leaving Luis and Sheridan in a akward silence. Sheridan broke the silence once again.

"Sooo, how ya been?" she asked.

"Pretty good, done well I guess" He answered smoothly.

"Oh thats good, what do you do for a living?" She asked.

"I'm a cop at the Harmony police department"

"Great...thats great"

"Yeah..well I gotta go work, c ya" With that he left the house.

Sheridan stood there feeling very uncomfortable when soon after Pilar came back.

"Sorry about that, where's Luis?" Pilar asked seeing that he was nowhere to be seen.

"He left for work"

"But he doesn't work for another 2 hours" Pilar replied.

"Well i'm sure that he did that so he could get away from me.." She answered on the verge of tears.

"I'm sorry Sheridan, my son just can't forget, it was a accident i know that, I don't blame you, Luis is just pig-headed sometimes"

"Thats okay, I understand, It's just that I loved him when we were friends... In paris, I dated a few guys but none of them made me feel the way Luis does...I still love him" She said letting the tears roll down her cheeks.

"I know you do, he 's attracted to you too, the way he looked at you just before, if you want my opinion, it won't take long for him to forget what happened." Pilar said smiling, which made Sheridan smile.
