No Bali Bombing Perpetrators Arrested Yet
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Bali Bombing II investigation team spokesman Brig. Gen.
Sunarko Danu Ardanto has denied that the police arrested a man suspected to have
been involved in the Jimbaran and Kuta bombings on October 1.
"Up to tonight, the police are yet to arrest any person suspected to be a perpetrators
in the Jimbaran and Kuta bombings," Ardanto stated.
Ardanto said that he had checked information regarding any arrests with the East
Java and Jember Police chiefs.
"Up to tonight, there have been no arrests," Ardanto stated.
Jember Police Mobile Brigade detectives said on Sunday (09/10) that they had
arrested a man suspectedly involved in the Bali bombing II case.
The man, with the initials HS, was arrested at his house in Kaliwining village,
Rambipuji sub district.
After that, the man was questioned at the Jember Police headquarters (HQ) until
Monday morning (10/10).
Before the sun rose, the police took him to the Bali Police headquarters for further
