Trevor Newell  Muntz
16-1-1944 to 19-11-2000 was born in Geelong .
son   of  Howard Newell Muntz and Alison Jean Shaw, grandson of  Thomas Carson Muntz  1972-1939 ( Wangaratta's town clerk between 1907 and 1940 ) and Mary  Elizabeth Lyle Fleming
great grandson of Thomas Bingham Muntz and Jane Jamison.

Trevor began his career in local government at Box Hill council while studying local government at night at RMIT. In 1963 he moved to the Shire of Winchelsea and After completing his studies became deputy town clerk at Sale in 1965 and later was first town clerk at Bairnsdale aged 23, where he worked for 10 years.

He then worked as accountant at GP motors until 1983. Then he became first franchisee for Collins Booksellers in Bairnsdale, with his wife, Lyn Muntz.
Trevor enjoyed sport, cricket, bowls, and other activities including: Lions club, stamp collecting and doing family history attending the large Muntz family gathering in Woodend about 1992? And travelled Australia.
Trevor was diagnosed with a form of cancer,  multiple myeloma in 1991.
  He was devoted to his family, wife Lyn. and  their  daughters.
